Braxton Hicks or baby stretching or round ligament pain?

We are due July 26th with our first. So far I feel NO WHERE close to going into labour. I felt BH earlier in the pregnancy but now I can't even tell if it is BH or just the baby stretching.... Every once in a while my belly takes this funny shape and I can clearly see the outline of the babies rump and where his/her feet are, but it isn't at all painful - just funny feeling. I feel like my belly is always kinda hard, so it is hard to tell whether is getting harder when these funny shapes form - not like earlier in the pregnancy when it was really obvious my belly was going rock hard. Last week I had more menstrual like pains, but I wondered if it was round ligament pain coming back - anyone know if you can get it again this late? ↓

mlscott, I am curious about this as well. My midwife said that BH and contractions would be felt down low, but I feel the tightness of my belly a few times a day (possibly BH) and it's not painful, just tightening! Then the contractions are just like period cramps, but no tightening! IS that right? Or am I still just feeling the baby moving??? No idea what any of it is supposed to feel like??? ↑
I have been getting pains around my groin area and my doctor said this is round ligament pain. I was due July 17th and have been getting these pains for about 3 weeks so it can definitely happen this late, although I thought it was more common in the second trimester. ↑

Bubbasmom, how are you feeling? I have heard on average the first comes 8 days late so maybe by the weekend you will go - is it your first? I had my first internal today, I am soft but no dilation - I figured so much. I think I will be going late too. I don't feel anywhere close to delivery. ↑

This is my second. My son turns 2 and a half in about 2 weeks. He came three days early so being overdue is new to me. We are pregnant with another boy. I have elected not to have internals done since it caused bleeding with my first pregnancy. I've been having a lot of cramps so I'm guessing I'm dilated some but have no idea. Hopefully, we will have our babies soon! ↑
