Cabbage Noodle Salad - a potluck FAVORITE

Cabbage Noodle Salad~~~ ½ head cabbage, finely chopped~~~ 2 tsp sesame seeds, toasted~~~ ½ C silvered almonds, toasted~~~ 4 green onions, chopped~~~ 1 (3.1 oz) pkg chicken flavored ramen noodles, cooked without seasoning pkt.~~~ Mix all ingredients. Prepare dressing and pour on salad right before serving.~~~ Dressing:~~~ 2 tsp sugar~~~ 1 tbsp vinegar~~~ ½ c vegetable oil~~~ 1 tsp salt~~~ ¼ tsp pepper~~~ Seasoning pack from noodles~~~ Mix ingredients together until well blended.

OMG! I totally forgot about this recipe. I used to make it about 5 years ago and it was always a big hit!!! Thanks for reminding me!!

I'll be glad when I am not breastfeeding so I can make it again. I have avoided cabbage, beans, onions, broccoli, etc...

This recipe really is sooo good. We used to beg our mom to make it all the time, even if there wasn't a potluck to take it to. And it is even better to eat the 2nd day.
