I took the Clear Blue Digital test today and yesterday. Both times showed pregnant in less than a minute; the test stick also had two lines. For this test I think the lines are irrelevant. For those who can't understand that stick with the other tests, however none are perfect. My advice to go to the doctor is you have several negative hpt's and no period.

I did a Clear Blue Digital test three days ago and it said Not Pregnant. Today I took an EPT test and it says Pregnant. So now I don't know if I should believe if I'm pregnant or not.

I took the Clear Blue Digital and it said "PREGNANT" and when I took it out only one line was on it. I have taken it in the past where I wasn't I "NOT PREGNANT" and when I took it out, it had two lines. These are accurate for me b/c when I took it last week and it said I was "PREGNANT", I went and confirmed it with the Doctor's Office. Good Luck to ALL!

I am also in the same position, I just took a clear blue digital and was told NOT PREGNANT, I took out the strip which had 2 lines on so I am unsure, the test I took a few weeks ago had 1 line on also saying NOT PREGNANT ! So I think I cannot answer your question as I am unsure myself, although the predictor I used before had 2 lines which ment I was PREGNANT, maybe we both need to see the doctor or change HPT and test again !! I am so confused, got symptoms as long as my arm and a NOT PREGNANT result, with 2 lines !!! OMG, are they just doing it for the money, I thought they were realiable. OBVIOUSLY NOT !!

Ok, I have taken 2 further tests today ( not a clear blue digital ) and guess what ... they are both POSITIVE !!! So are the digital ones faulty !!!??

Okay... let me try to clear this up for people who are still having trouble.
The digital test DOES NOT work the same way as other pg tests. It looks at the darkness of the second line... not just if it's there or not. The instructions say NOT to look at the lines because you must only go by the digital result. Most of the digital tests are not as sensitive as many other pregnancy tests, so often you may be pregnant and just not have enough of the hormone in your system to register on the digital test. I will only use the digital test as confirmation. I will still test on the dollar store tests because they have proven to me to be the most efficient. Hope that helps. Good luck ladies!

I have been getting faint positives for a couple of days (only 10 dpo today...) and so I got a digital test this afternoon and used it...and it came back "PREGNANT." I took a picture of it I was so excited! I really expected it to be negative. Anyway...I had a blood test this morning, because I wanted to confirm it that way also, and my HCG this morning was only 15...so it seems pretty sensitive to me.

my last period was aug 23 and i took a digital test and it said not pregnant. I really don't know what to think, my periods aren't very regular but they are never any later than 39 days. I just want to know but I hate to take another test to be disapointed again

Name: Alyssa | Date: Oct 3rd, 2005 11:40 PM
Heres my understanding on the Clear Blue Digital Tests: they have given tons of false "pregnant" readings. ALSO, the digital tests are not sensitive at all! That would explain a positive on another pregnancy test and a negative on the digital one. It's happened to me and a friend of mine. Good luck everyone!

Name: Amanda | Date: Oct 4th, 2005 5:14 AM
So Alyssa, what your saying is that the digital ones are not a good test to use and I thought they were the best on the market ! How sorry I feel for those women ( like myself ) that had used a digital and got a NOT PREGNANT result that actually are PREGNANT or vice - versa !! Well after 5 more cheap chemist test ( ALL POSITIVE ) I can truely say that I WOULD never recommended the digital to anyone !! GOOD LUCK to everyone. xx

Name: Julie | Date: Oct 4th, 2005 11:41 AM
Like I said before, the one I got was very sensitive, and accurate. I only had an HCG of 14, and I got a positive reading. If you take it too early, you might get a false positive, but I haven't heard anything bad (and believe me I've looked) in official hpt sites on those tests giving false positives. They are actually recommended among most hpt sites, and that is sites comparing all the hpt's.

Julie, question is when you removed the stick what did it look like?

Name: Julie | Date: Oct 8th, 2005 10:12 PM
There were 2 lines. The right one was much darker than the one on the left. I bought a 2 pack, so a couple of days ago, I took the other one, just for fun to see the "Pregnant" and look at the lines. This time (with HCG MUCH higher) The Line on the left was SUPER dark...and the line on the left looked light compared to it. It's my understanding that a lot of people will get 2 lines, even if they're not pregnant, or they are pregnant but not far enough along to be detected as PREGNANT. The left line will be light. It detects LH like an ovulation test, along with HCG, which is why people who aren't pregnant, can get a test with 2 lines also. I guess it has something to do with the darkness of the left line, that determines the pregnant or not pregnant result.

****correction**** the line on the RIGHT looked much lighter. (with the HIGH hcg)

Hello, I just read yours sue, and I just took a clear blue easy test as well. Mine said "not pregnant" but when I took the test out there was one line that was very very faint and another strong blue line? What is that suppose to mean!?

Name: Jen | Date: Oct 18th, 2005 5:03 PM
Ok I am confused, if you pull the strip out and it shows 1 line what does that mean?

Name: Jessica | Date: Oct 18th, 2005 5:14 PM
Now I am totally confused ! Can you believe it I have had a pregnancy test confirmed by a doctor, I am 8 weeks 4 day's pregnant !! Monday I did a clearblue digital test and it came up NOT PREGNANT !! So please someone explain that to me !

Name: Jennifer | Date: Oct 18th, 2005 5:29 PM
Ok- so what i am seeing is that the cheaper the test and the simplier the test the better. the dollar tree test is the way to go??? How is it that CBE can say they are simple with a precise answer, especially if someone knew they were pg and got a neg result...not right

Name: Crystal H. | Date: Oct 20th, 2005 5:13 PM
I have been havnig all the symptoms of early pregancy that I had with my first 2 pregnancies. I just took a CBE digital test and it said NOT PREGNANT but when I ejected the test, there was one really dark line and a second faint, but very obvious line to the side of that. I called CBE and they said it isn't the same kind of test so it doesn't matter what the lines said BUT I got a very rude and snappy lady helping me. Is what I am thinking is that if the cat got let out of the bag that these are just regular line read tests that can get plugged into a battery powered gadget, that people won't spend the money to get these anymore. Right now, these are popular because they are 'digital' so they don't want us to know they are the same test though. So, all of you that have taken these before...what did you get? Have there been one line REAL negatives or two line REAL positives? I am not due to start my af for 3-4 more days. Thanks!

Name: Melanie | Date: Oct 20th, 2005 8:38 PM
Why dont you guys try the EPT certainty digital test instead. I took it 4 days before my period was due and said pregnant and My doctor confirmed it. It did have 2 lines when I oulled out the strip, but you are not supposed to go by the lines.

The Clear blue tests are junk. I wasted my money on these. Mine also had 2 lines but the digital read out wouldn't work. So I went to the dollar tree and bought some cheapos and have had 4 positive tests(I keep doing it because I like the surprise everytime). So I'm not sure what the 2 lines mean. I am obviously pregnant! Stay away from CB tests....waste of time, money and urine!!!
