Let me put this thread to bed. The digital tests MUST be used with the holder. There will be two lines, one fainter than the other sometimes, but this means NOTHING with the digital tests. Without the holder as the interpreter, then lines mean nothing. There have also been false positives attributed to the clear blue digital test. See www.peeonastick.com for any clarifications. ↑
It clearly states that you CANNOT look at the lines with the digital test. You are to only look at the readout screen. This test checks for 2 different hormones, so that is why you see the lines. ↑
I also took a clear blue digital test today, after getting 2 positives on 2 +/- tests. I had 2 lines, the first being VERY bright and the control line slightly less blue . It took all of 30 seconds to say PREGNANT. I have gotten 3 positives and believe to be 5 weeks in. It could be that you are too early to register as pregnant and the digital doesn't recognize the 2nd line. ↑
I also took a clear blue easy digital HPT. I decided to try another test after taking 2 other tests that were -/+. I got 2 positives on those and wanted to try a digital to see if it matched. I had 2 lines, the control line, and a VERY bright blue line beside that one. So, I had 2 lines and the readout took less than 40 seconds to say PREGNANT. I had 2 blue lines and a positive result. ↑
So you people are saying clear blue digital sucks?!?!? cause i have been feeling very crappy and symptoms of pregnancy and had the oddest period , so i took the test it said negative but when i pulled the stick thing out i only seen one line!?! what could that mean?!?! and if any of you remember that website you went on that explained the one line two line thing could you please post it, im starting to freak out now! lol ↑
I just called the manufacturer and the lady told me that the lines are meaningless. You will get 1 or 2 lines if you are pregnant and 1 ot 2 lines if you are not. Too bad, I was excited :-) ↑
DIGITAL TESTS MEAN DIGITAL. that means you read the answer instead of looking at lines. it has been said a thousand times on this same thread. do NOT look at the lines, they are meaningless. what the screen says is your result and it will either be PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT. i hope this helps if you haven't already read that. i know that it's frustrating waiting for a bfp and every little thing is some sort of "sign" but digital test are different. ↑
i had a great experience with the digital..i kept getting these faint pos to where i was questioning whether or not i even seen it...so i was turning em every which way and making my dh look at them and finally he came home with a digital and it said PREGNANT...and there were 2 lines...HOWEVER, them lines do not mean anything...the lines measure different things then just the HCG hormone so thats not a reliable factor! these tests are good if you are pg and i actually got a POS on them before i got a clear POS on the early response so i would give them a good result! ↑
Just wanted to give you guys the heads up. I took a CBE digital the day I missed my period, the test came back negative, took the strip out and there were 2 lines, one faint one not. So then I took a regular yesterday (4 days late) and it was BFN. Well this morning I took the CBE digital again and BFP.....i took the strip out and theres only 1 solid line, so apparently the CBE Digital works different, 1 line you are 2 your not.......now I am 6 days late and started to feel pg. Calling Doc to confirm, and taking another regular tomorrow to make sure....I feel it though...... ↑
I last got my period on May 9th (12 days completely abnormal) and nothin since. I have take 2 CBE digitals both of which were -. My boobs don't fit in my bar and the are less sore today than they have been, and I am overly tired. My doc is sending me for bloodwork tomorrow. I looked at the lines and one was dark blue and one was light blue....I suspect that I am prego, but as this point, who knows. I do know that I wore adidas slippers to work today because my feet won't fit my pumps! Fun STUFF! ↑
I took a clear blue digital pregnancy test on Tuesday the 17th of July 2008 and it said POSITIVE i couldn't believe it the day after i took 3 more and they said NEGATIVE and now I'm confused can anyone help me? ↑
