I tested at 10 dpo and had a faint +. schar - sorry af is being stubborn...when you want it to comes, it doesn't, and when you don't, it's right there! donna - I think having 1 day of + opk is normal... good luck!! | Answer: Hi ladies, just wanted to pop in and update you on my progress. I am 9 dpo. My temps have been steadily climbing, but I am not sure if that is due to the hotter temperature down here in NC. I tested today, BFN. Which I wasn't really too surprised about. I am feeling kind of nausceous every once in a while, but this may just be something I ate. No more cramping, no more sore bbs, but I have had a lot of cm lately. It's been kind of ridiculous. Anyway, I guess we'll see. I"ll test again Thursday, 12 dpo. (Im' gonna try to wait that long). I need to jump back to the other thread and catch up on what I missed... so I'll be back on later. Hope you're all doing well! = |
| Answer: Well hey everyone. I am cd 19. I have had 5 days of + opks so i dunno whats going on. Still pos today. So maybe its good. anyhow Just waiting. 10 days til AF is due so hopefully I will know something at the end of this week or beginning of next week. Hoping I am hoping that you get a BFP. | Answer: Good morning to all. I'm pretty sure I'm 2 dpo. Not entirely sure but my temps seem to confirm it. So DH and I BDed every other day. I've heard every other and every day. Don't know if it matters. **Teddy** Glad to hear you are at 16 weeks now. Are you showing yet? **Kimmer** Glad to hear you are also doing well. **Hoping** BFP BFP BFP I'm doing the BFP chant for you! **Mama4** If you are getting that many + opks it could mean that clomid is effecting the result. It is rare but I read that clomid can effect opks. If not then it could mean you are ovulating multiple times which might be a good thing or bad thing. = |
| Answer: Mama-- What brand of OPKS are you using? I have heard Answer is known for having multiple days of + OPKs. | Answer: hello ladies. thank you all for the well wishings. i am just kind of sleeping through the weeks lol. my hubby told me that he read that when your uterus stretches it tires you out, and i believe it! i think it's tiring him out too lol. trying to keep track of my mood swings and cravings. as an early father's day present i got him 3.5 pounds of mixed nuts from sam's club since he always gets me what i'm craving. but yeah 2 weeks until my u/s i'm so nervous! dunno why lol. not like they'll be like "it's a....puppy?" i just know at some point i'm going to be like "omg it's almost time and we don't have anything ready!" but that's how i live and function lol. anyway, i'm off to the restroom...again lol. hope you ladies are doing well. oh and donna: my hubby can see it and i can tell and family can tell, but i think i just look pudgy still lol. but that's in a t-shirt. when i wear a maternity shirt i look preggy ^^ i love it! = |

| Answer: hey you beautiful ladies, i'm still here still reading now and again as i'm busy with my final exams. my angel is fine and i'm left with 15 weeks and few day before we can meet. i'm so in a hurry feels like time is standing still. Kimmer i remember when i was 7 weeks, i'd remind myself that i'm pregnant as it seemed so unreal. the kicks are very strong now and sometimes cause me a lot of pain. naughty child. she now weighs 475g and we 22weeks 3days. Just to give hope to all you ladies. PL, Rowan, kimmer and me all joined this forum sometime last year and we all pregnant now. Hoping you next as you were with us last year as well. = |

| Answer: so last night i was doing some research about pos opks for several days it said that only the 1st matters b/c lh level may just be really high! So if that is correct than I am about 4dpo. So hopefully I will get a bfp. I think it is too early to have any real symptoms but I did tell my husband that i thought the last few were false pos because i was having head rushes which i usually get veryyyyyy early in pregnancy just cant remember how early that well. I kind of have had a hard time finding something to eat that sounds good and also omg I am hotttttttttttt. I told my husband last night to turn on the a/c and he said it is on 65 i said well put it on 55! ALso sore bbs. This all is probably just clomid or because AF is due in like -9 days. ANyone have any thoughts? SChar I hope u get ur bfp. Hoping when are you going test. again? Teddy good to hear u r doing well. DOn't worry too much. | Answer: Hi ladies! Thanks for all the positive thoughts. 10 dpo today... not sure if pg or not. Yesterday had some weird twinges in abdomen again, then this morning I got sick, which is really weird. My temps are still high, but I probably wont test again until Thursday which would make me 12 dpo. It is so hard to wait, but I am trying to be a patient little girl!! **Fatz** So Thursday is the big day? I know you're probably scared, but I'm sure you'll be fine. It seems like it is pretty standard procedure. Let me know how it goes-- what time Thursday? I'll be thinking of you dear! **Schar** Seriuosly, while I don't know what's going on with the OPKs, I would get to BDing girl. I swear I ovulated cd 30 or 31 that one cycle. | Answer: Hi girls and how is everyone. I just wanted to give you all a quick update on me. Well today I am cd 25 and I am 7dpo and yes I did do my hpt and it was negative just like I knew it would be but I wanted to give myself a birthday present. Anyway I went to my gyn and I told him I wanted to have another baby and he didn't see a problem so AF is suppose to be here on the 10 if she don't show up then I will be on 50mg/clomid cd 3-7 1mg/estradiol (estrogen but I am not sure why I am taking this) 3 pills twice a day and I will start bding on cd10-16 and then on cd 17 start taking prog sup if I get a bfp then keep taking the prog sup until I am 10wks. I went and had blood work done and he want me to have a u/s whenever so I am going to wait until AF start if she starts this month and make my appointment after I finish the clomid so I can see what the eggs are looking like. I am happy best birthday present. He also said we will do this for 3 cycles and if not pg after this then we will move on to the next step. Also my insurance covered all my meds at $10 each so I was happy about that. Will talk to everyone later. Krissy68 = |

| Answer: schar is this the first time you've seen a second line on your opk? if you've already had a positive for an opk, watch for that test to get a positive again. when i first tested, i used an opk because i had so much cm i thought i was ovulating already and it turned a dark positive right away. good luck ladies! i've started praying heavy duty for you all again. = |

| Answer: I haven't had a positive opk since March when I had a chem pregnancy, then started clomid on March 28th and din't get a +opk found out I didn't ovulate that cycle now this cycle I started on May 2nd I think but I know today is cd 36 and no +opk they are light pink and last week you couldn't see anything. My ewcm hasn't gone away it's been like 5 days and I keep getting lots of cm. I don't think I will O but I had quite a few days last week cramps and bloating and every few days I get the same thing then nothing I am gonna call my OB tomorrow. = |
| Answer: I was so anxious to test and I did because of what the internet said about oing on the 1st pos test and then the hpts i bought off line said i could test as soon as 6 pays past conceptions. So Today is officially 7 days past o. The test was very i mean very faint. I told dh to look at it and tell me what he thinks and he could also see a small faint line. Does anyone know if this is possible or if we are just hoping too much or if this is clomid? Please help me girls. I have started getting symptoms but i really figured them to be more af or clomid than pregnancy because they are all so similar and it is so early. But all day yesterday I selpt and cramped like af was coming and i am still a little crampy. I really expected a bfn but I knew i would sleep better just to see it and for it to be proof to help kill some anxiousness I have. THis 2ww is killing me. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! = |

You know what you have to do though wait a few more days and test again. You can go to your doctor and take a blood test but thats pricey and you have to wait atleast a day to get the result. = |
| Answer: mama4 I hope this is it for you and you got a bfp just to let you know there are many tests that have lite pink chemical lines that are not + I have had them on the first response test, dollar store brand and other generic brands. I think it has to be a certain number of days after af, so they may just want to make sure you are prime for the dye shooting... let me know how that goes... I'm thinking of you! **Schar** Do you have PCOS? I read somewhere that extended cm can be a sign of that. Especially combined with low temps. I am not sure if this is triphasic or not. My temps were around 97.5 until 5 dpo and then they shot up to around 98 and have stayed there. Is that enough to be triphasic or am I just hoping? I am not sure too if it's just because it is hot as hades in NC. I am going to test tomorrow if my temps stay high. I have had some sensitively in my nipples, but nothing too drastic... who knows.... | Answer: Well I couldn't sleep much last night. I kept waking up to calculate the days til I could test again! Also because my breast kept hurting. AF is due next week the 12th. So I guess I have a whole week I should probably wait. I am not for sure though. I am thinking of taking one on Saturday or that may still be early. I may go buy a good hpt (i have cheap internet ones) and take it Saturday or Sunday. I am really hoping for BFP. Hoping it is sounding good for you girl. I don;t do the temp thing. | Answer: I hope I am ovulating I did bd Monday and will bd today. I don't have pcos and only got the cyst after I used the clomid and never ha ewcm like this until this month all this is clomid and I started fertility blend a week ago so you never know I guess. | Answer: Kimmer i know that you must not stay hungary cause if you do you feel nauseaus.. Eat sugar candies.. That normally helps with the morning sickness.. One time only did I only have 12 dpo... so I'm hoping tomorrow morning I will get good results! **Fatz** Weird, my dr told me I had to have it done the week after af. Maybe I misunderstood. Since it's not to be scheduled until July we couldn't do too much just yet... let me know how yours goes and what the dr said today. **Mama** Saturday would be 7 dpo or 6? | Answer: That 5 days of pos opks really messed me up and confused me about my cycle. I know i am cd 21 though. I still have a lot of cm. Probably more now then when o'd. AF is due next week on the 12th. so I think i am about 7 dpo. I am really hoping to be preggo. So i am hoping to test saturday again at 10 dpo anyone think thatis too early. I have 27-28 day cycles. I am getting frustrated. I just want to see my very BFP. So hopefully the faint line really ment something. = |
| Answer: donna: are you sure it's before you're ovulating? maybe you're o'ing when you have the ewcm. have you tried bd'ing on those days aswell? of course i never o'd on my own, so i didn't know about ewcm lol. **hoping** i had lots of cm, so i thought maybe i was ovulating so i took an opk and it came back positive right away super dark and i remembered from that poas website that an opk will turn positive if you're pregnant and for whatever reason i felt compelled to take a pg test and that's when i got my bfp. it's weird, but it works. kinda along the same lines as when you the the hcg trigger shot they tell you not to take a pg or opk test because you'll get positives from the hcg's. = |

| Answer: **Teddy** Well I didn't notice the ewcm until I started charting so no I wasn't ovulating but yes I did BD just in case. Maybe I'm just wired wacky. I did get ewcm last month during the time I was supposed to ovulate but I never ovulated. Well as for me 4dpo and not much to report. I've been feeling crappy all day. Nausea, hot flashes, and twitches and little pangs of pain in my uteran area. All of these things could be signs but after reading on the net today , its just too early for any symptom to be a symptom. Besides I don't want to get my hopes up. I'm testing on Friday the 13th. I'm not superstitous but I wonder if I should be. = |

Since I only have one preggo test left and had to buy more opks I still have 10 or left of them so what the heck. I had to. So i am almost cd22 right the test wasnt quite positive but like maybe a shade off. So does that mean anything... lol. Donna i am rooting for you. | Answer: that would be great mama4 my ultrasound is June 13th I am praying we either see a healthy pregnancy or I have a new cycle with many healthy follicles wish me luck girls going on cd38 I have never had a cycle this long and just have ewcm my longest cycle was 37 miscarriage days and that was after my first m/c. I am praying for all of u and that everything will be ok with me my opk is sooo negative still I don't know why my estrogen is so high. = |
| Answer: mama4andmore: lol because it's what i did! and you never know it could be something. but because docs do day 21 bloodwork it could be leftover from ovulation. you might try again in a couple of days just to see if it's fading or getting darker. fingers crossed!! = |

The reason y i think my RE was not so particular bout the date of HSG is cause i am on the pill anyway.. so i the chances of ovulation for me and preg now on the pill are slim. Maybe your Re said that cause you are in a normal cycle.. And you cant go close to ovulation in case you could be preg.. Cant wait for you to test.... However, I won't temp again until next wednesday, which will be 18 dpo if AF doesn't show Sunday. So we'll see!! **Mama** It sounds like things are looking good for you dear! He said after the dye test we wait another 6 months before we take the next step. Do they not realize how long that is to people who are ttc? | Answer: Just hang in there and dont loose hope.. I think if it doesnt work maybe you should do the Dye thing?? How long again have you been TTC?? Ill let you know how the Dye thing goes.. | Answer: Hoping - so sorry hun about the BFN...hang in there. And, I really hope af doesn't show for you! It'll happen...maybe the hsg will be the key...I've heard your more fertile after you get that test done. Good luck with whatever you do!! I'm really roothing for you. ***Mama4 - If you are getting a +opk, that's a good sign that you will get a +hpt. The opk detects an lh surge, which should only exist for a day of two right before you ovulate. That surge causes ovulation. However, hcg and lh are similar in molecular structure, so opks can pick up hcg too (you can read peeonastick.com if you want more info on this). So, if you are getting a +, it shouldn't be left over from o'ing, it's probably hcg... I took opks, and they got progressively darker, just like the hpts. Good luck!! ***Teddy - did you see my question about synthroid? Just curious what you did. ***Fatz - sounds like you are on your way too - good luck tomorrow on the hsg test!! | Answer: Hi ladies! Thanks Fatz and Kimmer-- It's all good. I'm not giving up hope until AF rears her ugly witch head. **Fatz** My dr will let me get it done, I'm sure. We have a discrepency. He will only count that I have been ttc since September since that is when I first started ovulating, I am counting starting in July since that is when we technically started. So he thinks I should chill out a little bit. I am almost 26 and DH is turning 28 Saturday, so I'm right with you. I was hoping to give DH a BFP for his birthday... no such luck... oh well...like I said I'll test again Wednesday, the day before our 4 year anniversary...maybe we'll get a nice anniversary present. I did not O but my opk is a little bit darker and I think there is a small chance i WILL O my bbt was only 96.9 yesterday I know I haven't O'd unless my bbt is at least 97.8. So because the test is a bit darker think it may be possible. I May be catching something or who knows. The good thing is my temps are way up. At 4dpo it was 98.14 and then went down to 97.82 and today it shot back up to 98.07. Sound Promising? Here is my update. I tested today I am cd 28 10dpo and it was a BFN and I am okay with that I will be testing again on sunday and I will be cd 30 12 dpo. AF is due on Tuesday and I think she is on her way because since monday my temps have been dropping. cd 24 6dpo 98.70, cd 25 7dpo 98.46, cd 26 8dpo 98.52, cd 27 9dpo 98.13 and today cd 28 10dpo 98.10. My breasts normally get tender within a few days before AF. I'm about 6 days away from AF so it could go either way. I've decided to test tomorrow with fmu and then test again on the 13th. | Answer: I am a littlw worried about if I will ofulate or not this month I did one day of progesterone 2 days ago 400mg thats what made af start last month. I am on cd 42 now and really really worried I just want it to com my ewcm stopped 2 days ago when I took the progesterone and I just want af tome my doc is out of town till the 25th only when u need em and my appointment is friday for the ultrasound. I last took clomid on 4/29 but that was only 100mg so hopefully it will be outta my system this month and I can have a fresh start. good luck all. Implantation takes 7-10 days from what I read and I really should wait until atleast 11dpo to test. I feel silly to have tested so early and I wished I hadn't b/c even though I know it was too early my hopes are a bit down. My temps are good though I'm hovering around 97.8 which is way above my coverline. My breasts have been really sore and I've been feeling the way I do just before AF shows. I was readinf on natural ways to increase your chances and bought evening primrose oil gel caps, vitex(chasteberry in pill form), folic acid, and wild yam root pills, is there an order I should take these or a once a week per pill or all every day I really want twin and I can't afford to go to a fertility Dr so I'm trying the natural stuff that I feel is better for the body anywase. | Answer: Junebug: Here are a couple of abbrev. you'll see on this site alot. BFP=Big Fat Positive BFN=Big fate negative. OPK or OPT= ovulation predictor kit or test (same thing). CD=cycle day. DPO=days past ovulation. EWCM= Egg white cervical mucus. CM=cervical mucus BBT= basal body temperature. AF=Aunt flow. 2WW= 2 week wait. BD=Baby Dance. O=ovualtion. There is more but that should get you started. As far as twins go I too wouldn't mind them but b/c I experience infertility so to get two would be one less time I have to go through this nightmare. However, I'll be happy with whatever the lord blesses me with. The thing about twins is that most of what determines fraternal twins is genes or fertility drugs. You should never take fertility drugs unless you are experiencing infertility. There are things mentioned in the how to concieve twins naturally thread but none of these have been studied or tested so in reality alot of them could just be wives tales. As far as identical twins go they are random and considered a freak of nature (not hereditary). So if you really want twins your chances are high only if you've 1. had twins before. 2. Are a twin 3. Have twins on your mom's side of your family 4. or take fertility drugs like certain injectables or have IVF. General population chances of twins is 3%. So I wouldn't count on it. = |

So I am now going to wait until 12 dpo to test again and use fmu which I didn't do yesterday. The soreness in my breasts is going away, I don't know what that means. Now I am involved in this ongoing game with my drs office about whether we should have DH's sperm count tested first, or the HSG. We were learning towards the sperm analysis since it is less expensive, but I'm having a hard time getting any straight answers. It's very frustrating. | Answer: Here is my update I am on cd 3 and I just started taking 50mg/clomid 3-7 my doctor have me on a treatment plan and I am going to follow it to a t starting on cd 8-12 I will be taking 1mg/estradiol 3 pills 2 times a day bd cd 10-16 and starting on cd 17 taking progesterone gel until either AF show up or I get a BFP and if that is the case then I will keep taking until I am 10wks.
