I'm wondering if it makes sense to store cord blood if a mother has Hep B. Comercial Cord Blood Banks say that the risk of infecting the blood is low and you can use the stem cells, but when it comes to donating the cord blood (free banks), Hep B carriers are excluded. Does anyone have experience with this?
