Has anyone gotten pregnant after coming off the depo shot.

I've been off my shot for 5 months now.. I still have no period, but im ovulating. I was just wondering if anyone has gotten preg. coming off the depo shot after 5 months. ↓

My sister was on Depo for 6yrs and she got preg. 6 months after she stopped getting the shot.
I myself wasn't on anything for yrs and we couldn't get preg. so i went and had an HSG test done (checks to see if ur tubes r clogged) everything was good. Finally they gave me a rebela shot and i got preg. within three months. Hope everything works out 4 u. best of luck ↑

I know this is an "older" post but I wanted to comment, Jenna. I was on the depo shot for 3 yrs. I came off of it in may of 05, and got pregnant after a year of trying in june of 06. :) ↑

I took depo for abour a year and came off it in Sept. '02 and got pregnant by Dec. '02. ↑

Oh yes, deffinately. I was one for 2 years, got my period back in 6 weeks, and pregnant in 3 months from only one day. Don't lose hope. ↑

yes i got off the depo shot last july and was pregnant by january....i had been using depo for a year. ↑

hello everyone , i have a comment tooo ; i used to be on the depo shot for 6 years and i stop it taking the depo shot i was 20 years old . i was trying to get pregnat but nothing happend at all . now i don't get period that much and also that mt ubes is block too . if everyone have a suggestion please fel free to reply . thank you  ↑

I was on DEPO for 5 years. (after getting pregnant at a young age my mother took me for an abortion and straight to get DEPO faithfully for the rest of the time I was under her roof.) Since getting off of It I have gotten pregnant twice, but miscarried... I have been off it for about 2 years now... and the second one was over a year off it I know, and if I remember so was the first... but I am not sure if I miscarried because if the DEPO or the late abortion that I endured... so if that helps... sorry... I heard that DEPO is very bad for anyone to be on long term, plus it made me gain 40 lbs and made me depressed!  ↑

i was wondering if i could get pregant after stopping the depo shot.my shot was due on feb 22 2008 but i didnt get it.when could i get pregant.i have a prioed at all even on depo shot ↑

Yes, You can get pregant after coming off the depo shot. I was on the shot for five years and have been off for four months and just found out i'm pregnant. I did not think I could get pregnant so soon. ↑

I got pregnant within about 2 months of coming off the shot. But i think i got pregnant so fast because i took one cycle of birth control pills to make my period come because i didn't want it surprising me but then i stopped taking them after that one cycle. And right after i stopped taking them, i got pregnant ↑
