Not that Im in any hurry at all, but I was just wondering how soon has anyone came up pregnant after a c-section. Im 4 months postpardum and it would be a scary thing if i got pregnant anytime too soon but i would like to within the next 2 yrs.

I got pregnant with my 3rd when my 2nd was 8 months and still b___stfeeding (and I've had all c-sections). I was a little nervous about how my c-section recovery would be since it followed the other one so closely, but it was about the same... maybe even would have been a little better than the other ones if I'd have remembered to take my pain meds on time :-0

I got pregnant with twins 3 months after my first c-section (while nursing, and on the mini pill), then got pregnant 3 months after having my second c-section (while on birth control again), then I got pregnant, yet again, another 3 months after my 3rd c-section! Now I just had my 4th c-section 2.5 weeks ago.

My doc told me to wait at least 1.5 years before getting pregnant again. Although I had a twin pregnancy so maybe she told me to wait that long because I was stretched out so much?

My dr told me 1.5 yrs between each of them at least.

I am soon having my #6 C-section (I am one of those ladies who have a small pelvis & most likely would have died in labor if I lived long ago), anyway, after my 2nd child, I had ONE period and was pregnant again with #3. He was born 11 and a half months later, and was healthy as can be, no complications in my pregnancy either. They dont recommend this happening this quick, but it does sometimes with no problems.
