I'm feeling good because I've had a really good day. Finished up some work that needed doing and ate a really enormous salad which tasted FANTASTIC! Spent the whole day laughing with my fab hubby and then relaxed in the evening with a delicious bottle of alcohol free sparkling white wine to celebrate. It's great to be pregnant on days like today! Please put your positive vibes down and let's banish any worries!! Happy thoughts to you all!

In the spirit of our friend, "Hopeful" (whose posts I will miss) I'll continue to post here because as she reminded us, we need to stay positive. I'm feeling good because today I reached the 10 week mark and it appears that my morning sickness and fatigue is starting to taper off. I actually felt good and energetic today and for the first time in a week had a great, sweaty workout at the gym. Also, today for the first time in months the weather forecast has at least 4 days of sunny weather in a row. I'm tired of all the rain and very ready for shorts and sandals weather and a poolside bar-be-que party.

Also missing Hopeful ---- Today I'm feeling great because at 12 weeks, I finally got to see my little bean in an ultrasound, and see it's sweet little heart beating -- and it looked like it waved at us through the monitor! Yay! (Due Nov. 8th)

HI EVERYONE!! I'm feeling good because, last Wed I found out I was 5wks pg. I'm 40 yrs old and my partner is 30. We've been trying ttc for about 9 mths now without success. I tried clomid & self insemination using a turkey baster and on my second round of clomid we were blessed. This beats the expense of having it done at the Dr's office. I chose to get a CVS done because of my age. Please write back . I would love the support. Good luck to all of you on your upcoming deliveries.

juicy, I have to say I always thought the turkey baster was an old wives tale, too funny. Congrats to you and good luck!!!

Good to hear Hopeful is doing well.
Congratulations Juicy!! I've heard of others using the turkey baster method too. A lot of us here are not too far ahead of you, week 10 here. This is the right place for support--we all need it!

HI PERL & MIRACLEBABY.
Thanks for responding. I've recommended the turkey baster method to one of my co-workers who desperately wants a baby. She also is getting ready to start her second round of clomid. Miraclebaby a big YOO HOO to you for having a baby girl. I desperately want a girl, I have two boys ages 22 and 17. Please send a prayer up for me. My due date is Dec 28.

First of all, is it just me or cant a turkey baster be dangerous? Secondly, I am feeling good because I had another ultrasound today due to spotting and the baby is doing wonderfully!! Herm has a strong heartbeat and is growing wonderful the tech said; so that made my day!!! I am currently 9w/4d...xo

I'm feeling good for no particular reason but that it's been a good day. I went for my allergy shots today at a medical group that also has an OB office in it and I saw not 1 but 3 pregnant women who looked as old or older than I am. This is good because when I go to MY ob the women there are 20 something and I feel so incredibly OLD I just want to sink into my seat!! It's GREAT to see other women in my age group getting pregnant too. Hooray for us older moms to be!!

I'm feeling good because I heard my baby's heartbeat on doppler for the 1st time last Thursday and this weekend my belly puffed up a little more. The reality of pregnancy is becoming more and more . . . real every day.

Name: annabanana | Date: May 8th, 2006 8:50 PM
perl

where did you get doppler from? Was it your docter or did you buy one. I believe your 12 weeks one week behind me, when is your due date. Mine is November 9

Name: Perl | Date: May 8th, 2006 9:02 PM
Hi Annabanana!! The doppler was at my Dr's office. No I didn't buy or rent one on my own but am thinking about it. I'm 11 weeks 5 days and due on Nov 22nd so we're pretty close since you're due Nov 9. Dr told me that possibly we wouldn't be able to hear the heartbeat at 11 weeks especially since my uterus is tilted back but we heard it after some searching and volume adjustments. Sounds like you're looking into renting your own monitor (?) if so let us know how it goes and if it's easy to use.

I'm feeling good because my Level 2 ultrasound came back showing NO MARKERS for any disability and my AFP came back negative!!!!!!
