My husband and I don't have any kids together but I have a boy and a girl that will be 11 & 7 this August. And he has a 16 & 8 year old. Should we start over with a new baby together? I will be 30 NEXT YEAR!!!!! And he is 36.

I have an 11 year old girl and a 9 year old boy from my 1st marriage. I am due to give birth to my son with my current husband on April 25. I was 30 in August. I say go for it. I am glad I did. Good Luck!

i think that you should go for it. If both of you want this then I think it is the greatest gift you can give each other. Besides 30 is not old at all. I have a 7 and 6 year old and my husband has a 10 yr old and a 12 grl he raised as his own and I wish that I had the opportunity to have one of our own. I would say go for it.......If you have a good marriage and you both want it then ya, and besides it isn't starting over it is just another blessing in your marriage that you will treasure forever........keep posted

Yeah, im starting to think you all are right. Some of my friends are just begining to have children at 30. My kids are okay with it. I do believe we are missing that love connection that you have when you have children together. One problem is my husband is in the army and he's hardly ever here, let alone here while i'm ovulating.

I am 30 and my husband is 36 and we are pregnant with our first. I don't think I could have picked a better, more stable time in my life to do this.

Now that could be a problem but just keep trying and it will all work out. The connection between you and your husband and your new baby will be worth all the waiting. Besides 30 is not to old to get started again....just think you will have all the wisdom and patience from already having older kids....good luck

i definately think you should. you say 30 like its 60! im turning 29 soon and have an11 year old son and would love to have more. i think kids keep you young! not to mention 30 is a great age because in my case, i always got funny looks from people the last time i was prego cause how young i was. it'll be nice to go to parent teacher confrences NOT being the youngest mom there!

I will be 30 in Oct. and I am having my third baby sometime in Aug. I say if he also wants to then go for it. 30 is not to old to have a baby and neither is 36, my dh is 37.

Hey ladies, well I got impatient and I bought a HPT. yesturday it showed one dark line(NEG) and a faint (POS) Im not sure, so this morning I took the second test (first P) and I got a more faint Neg line and faint pos line so if you're thinking what I'm thinking, I may be PG, let me know, ICBW. My AF is due between 3-5 June so maybe that will be the deciding factor before I go and buy another one of those expensive HPT. The begining of my last AF was June 7 so could I be seeing results this soon? I will KYI, THX for listening, OH and I haven't told my DH yet :) I'm going to wait.

Name: billsgirl | Date: May 30th, 2007 9:37 AM
honey- the darker line is the control line. the lighter line is the test line. you see two?! congtats! your pregnant!!!!!!!!!!

Name: billsgirl | Date: May 30th, 2007 9:38 AM
also- if you want to get a cheap test- go to the dollar store- they are only a dollar and really reliable

THX billsgirl, but I couldn't resist so I went and got another test POS results.(First Response) and this time the pink lines are very visible. OMG I can't believe I took all you ladies advice and now I'm PG. Im so excited. THX Everyone!!!!!!!!! I will be a new mom at 29!!!! NO MORE 4 ME after this for sure.

Name: tmjulien | Date: May 31st, 2007 7:02 AM
Hey ladies, yeah I guess you would have to read some of the other post to find out the latest news. I told my DH and he said, "I new you were PG,because I don't shoot blanks". The nerve of him, but anyway we are happy and he's already giving me that prego attention. Haven't told the kids yet, I think I'll wait till Iv'e been to the Dr. Can you believe I may be only 3 weeks and 3 days according to this due date calendar online and I really don't understand it because it says we conceived on the 21 of May so that would make me 10 days???, I guess it went off my last AF, oh well, guess I'll find out today when I go to the Dr. If you can explain it better feel free. Baby Dust To You All !!!!!!!!!!!!

I sure hope you're not to old..other wise I am too and that thought never crossed my mind :) I'm sure that it's a MAJOR decision to start all over again, but at least you'll have easy access to a babysitter!!! LOL Ok, so I'm new here...what does DH mean? I know it's something husband...darling or donor???:)

I think that if thats something u both wont, go 4 it. and no 30 is not too old, i just had another baby 05-10-07 9 days before i turned 30.

Name: cakegirl | Date: Jul 13th, 2007 6:30 AM
Congratulations tmjulien!!! BTW, when they work out how many weeks pregnant you are, they go from the first day of your last period. So you might have conceived one week ago when you ovulated, but you'll be considered to be 3 weeks pregnant. It is very strange, but it is they way the medical community works it out.

Go for it!!! I am young but however my mom has 7 kids and her last is 2yrs old... She was 33yrs old and my dad was 38yrs old... They had a wonderful and healthy 7lb baby boy... who at 2yrs old is vibrant and full of life!!!! So go for it... If the desire is there fullfill it!!!!
