Haha DH got up about an hour after m ethis morning and as he was going back to bed at lunchtime for his n/shift he sent me back to bed for a couple of hours....Well I did try - honest I did - but I couldn't sleep and instead read my book for over an hour and then had the longest shower - with no wee heads sticking their face round the door to ask daft questions or stick their hands down the loo....It was bliss - and now I feel like a naughty schoolgirl for sneaking the time away! LOL

Wonder how Zay's doing...

Maybe someone should send her an email telling her we've moved - if she doesn't look here she'll never find us on infant care???

So it was all in my head...my AF came today at 34 days. I guess I am a 33-34 day woman after pregnancy. I will go ahead then to the dollar store and get myself some test for next month. I guess you can say now we are officially ttc. As far as the house goes...we are starting to look but we have to sell our house before we can put a bid on another house. I like one right now that is on the market, but they just lowered the price which means that it will probably not be there much longer. Our house will be on the market next week. I felt like I got a lot accomplished yesterday and today my class went really well. I over planned which as a good teacher is always a good thing. Declan is fighting bedtime this week. He cries the minute I start the bedtime routine. I had to leave him crying in the crib for 10 minutes until he calmed down and then I went back in to check on him and he fell asleep within minutes. He just wants to stay up late...but I think he has no business being up after 8pm. I am trying to stick to 7:30pm bedtime. It use to be 7pm but lately he just cannot settle until daddy comes home.

Hey ladies! Sonrisa that is a bummer your not preggo, maybe next month! Irene, we went through what testing we could afford b/c our insurance wont pay a penny of it and it all has to come up front if insurance doesnt cover it. Dh was all clear and everything they did on me was all clear. We were told before i had the surgery for crohns it could make it hard for me to concieve but not impossible. But we had to do it b/c we had exhausted all the other options for treating the Crohns and my intestines were completely blocked off and I was having to be fed through my veins.

So I went to the neurosurgeon today and he said he really thought the cyst was congential but b/c of where it was (actually ended up being c7/ti (I dont know what that ortho dr did but he was off on each number n e ways...) in 2 months i will have another mri just to make sure it isnt growing b/c there is a bunch of nerves right in that atrea but if its the same he said there would be no need to futher evaluate that. He said that one of the dics had a mild bulge but that the other one had herinated. We are going to start out conservative w/ trigger point injects friday and 3 weeks of pt. (which includes cervical traction (don't know what that is for sure) hot packs (sounds relaxing), massage (which sounds super relaxing) and ultrasound (i dont know how the heck that can help my neck haha). If that doesnt relieve the pain then he said we would try an epidural, then lastly go and have a scan run w/ dye to procede w/ more invasive measures of needed. He said none of the conversative methods would make the tingling go away but i said that was ok w/ me if the pain was less and I could interact w/ caden w/o hurting so much. I'm ready to get start and hopefully feeling better...One good thing, dh went and decided i sure didn't need to hoe in the garden haha

Great news that you're out of the hard graft in the garden Tara! lol...Cervical traction??? !! Dh has a jippy elbow - from painting the entire school by himself - and one of the treatments he had was ultrasound 4/5 times...He didn't get a very good explanation about that for me either - something about it massaging the tendons....? You had told me about the stuff you tried for concieving, I remembered after I read it again! Dim-wit Scot! Caden truly is your little blessing then.... Sonrisa - good news about your AF - kind of I guess, Maybe the timing will work better for you as you had planned....

Well I have been talked into it...I am going to put Caden in a beauty pagent. Can you believe that lol I never thought I would even put a little girl in one but my cousin has really been on me about doing it once time. She done it once with both of her boys when they were around 18 months to 2 years. So she sent one that all the money they take in goes to help cloth the foster kids in our county. I figured that was a great cause and I would make my cousin happy too. Dh gave in and even agreed to walk him since I get so nervous around crowds. It isnt until july 19th tho. We got the plum jelly made I just got home about 15 mins ago we made 11 pints. I had to go get another cell phone we upgraded and two of them that i chose were broke. Dh got the razor and hasnt had any problems with it so i went and got that today.

Tara - finally looked at your photos - well slow huh? Absolutely lovely! Beach is gorgeous too! Is everyone's LOs eating as normal? Aiden is totally off his food...seems like its been forever since he's eaten anything decent...Breakfast is a huge effort and I've totally lost heart...I've tried it all cereals, toast with various toppings, pancakes, eggs...nothing will pass his lips..I've even tried feeding after I've put the others to school - so like almost 2hours after he's woken...nada...Lunch he'll sit and pick at..(today he wolfed down baked beans and hot dog sausages) but dinner is another pain...He used to love anything with gravy and veggies, pastas and sauces...basically he ate everything, now he has one bite - if I'm lucky and then nothing more...I'[ve tried new things as well with no success..Tried strict snack times, no snacks, watching how much milk he drinks, I've put it down to his teeth, to his mild cold that he has had...but he just seems to have lost the willingness to eat... He will eat crisps (potato chips) there's a surprise ! and strawberries...But he's most content just drinking milk...I think if he doesn't pick up with it again over the weekend I'll take him to the health visitor...

Hi Girls - I am here! We have just had a busy couple of days. We finally painted over our hot pink kitchen!! We have been trying to get the house in order because my in-laws come a week today from Scotland. Scott has been getting the garage sorted, tiling our floor in the master bathroom because I told him he needs to get the toilet in before his family comes. Chloe and I have been busy going to parks and the pool and today we have playgroup. Also her 15 month doctor's appt is today. So I have 5 friends that are pregnant right now! And get this - my friend who had the twins in January - she is pregnant again hahahaha...She is nuts. She wanted to get pregnant again and get it over with so she will have 13 month old twins and a newborn in Feb. Can you believe it? Son - you need to post pics of Declan!

Irene - Chloe is eating fine but I think I need to vary her menu more now. She is getting tired of the old meals I have been feeding her. She is thin as I have said before but I don't know what to give her to fatten her up a bit. I also feel like a fat pig on this prednisone and want to lose weight again but I am craving cookies and cakes and sweeties and having my in-laws here is not going to help at all. Cat- I am sure Caden will take the prize in his pagent as he is gorgeous!

Oh and DH got himself in trouble last night. He told me he had something to tell me and than he told me he ordered a "Go-Kart" off of Ebay and it had been delivered yesterday. He spent $150 on it and he was sorry he bought it and did not tell me and he is going to sell it on Ebay. This after I let him buy that hunk of metal sitting in our garage. I did not get too mad at him because he felt bad but c'mon? A go-kart? Is he nuts? Is he going through a mid-life crisis? I feel like he is 13 sometimes....

Oh and for your mom's with older kids - When do they start getting nightmares? I swear Chloe had one last night. She woke up out of her sleep and was screaming like she was scared. She settled down when I went in but is it too early for those?

Name: iemc19 | Date: Jun 18th, 2008 11:24 AM
Welcome back Gretta - lol...I don't think its too soon at all - Aiden has had some too - scares the pants of you...always when you get into deep sleep as well! ughh...Your friend is certifiable !! haha...

Oh1 What colour is you kitchen now?? Vibrant purple?? ;-)

Name: Gretta | Date: Jun 18th, 2008 3:55 PM
The color is called Clay Pebble and its like a light Khacki Green and my Aunt picked it out and told us to paint that specific color so we did just because we are both so "challanged" in the art of choosing colors. I will put up a pic once the tape is off. It looks like a world of difference.

Also Chloe had her 15 month today - made it to 20 lbs 2 oz! And 32 inches. Doctor said that there was nothing wrong with her being long and lean :)
He also said as long as she is getting 15 oz of dairy a day thats enough calcium. So like 8 oz of milk and two servings of yogurt or equivalent is fine.

Ahh Gretta - you can't say that - you picked a lovely decor for Chloe's room.... :-) Ughh, looks like we're fencing again this weekend...Dh came home with a load of fencing from his work (basically pallets that he then gets to strip, I get to cut and paint and then together we get to bicker at how level it is..LOL! ) Fingers crossed this will be the fence finally - FINALLY - finished...Makes me mad when I think how much we spent on panels when we moved in - and the wind has very quickly blown to pieces....sigh, at least this is basically free bar the paint and nails.....

Chloe is going to beautiful and petite...and the men are going to fall at her feet, while Scott stands at the door in his kilt, flashing his bare bum at them all to scare them all away!
