Irene, I too am sorry that you and your husband have to go through this again. I had my first u/s at 8w4d and only 3 or 4 days later I started bleeding. I was devestated I went in tho and we could still hear the heartbeat. They said they couldnt tell me if Iose the baby or not. One week later I went back. The bleeding had gotten really light and still had a heartbeat. They told me once I was for sure miscarring I would being filling 1 pad an hour and it never got that heavy. I'm not trying to get your hopes up just sharing that I did do that w/ caden and didn't ever miscarry. I do realize tho that you have been through this before and I hope its ok that I shared that w/ you! Prayers going up and your way!

Goodnews ladies. My mom got discharged today and is finally feeling better! She looks very pale and is really weak but hadnt puked in like 14 hours so they let her come home. And...My friend won custody of her daughter back today!!! I was so nervous testifying and I was the only one that his lawyer crossed witnessed or whatever it is called. I felt like I was in there 20 mins then they did 10 more witness in 40 lol.

Name: catgiggles | Date: Jun 27th, 2008 8:23 PM
in 40 mins that is..I had seen him be physically abusive to her tho as well as be violent to thier dog so I figure that is why she crossed examined (lol I have tried to spell that word like 3 times and its just not coming to me.)

CAT...you have had a stressful week...well really year! i hope it starts getting better! well, our vbs week has come to a close...i cant believe it is all over. it is bitter sweet! it will be nice to not have to work at the church everyday and spend time with my little ones, but i will miss being with my new vbs family i have had the priviledge to get to know much better. we had a couple teacher stand up and say they had been to vbs' since they were kids and taught for many years, but this was the best vbs they have ever attended...i was so happy...it was such a good week! IRENE...HOW ARE you doing??

Thanks for your wishes ladies...Tara, I certainly don't mind hearing good things...But while a small part of me thinks 'maybe' - because I'm not bleeding as heavy as I have done in previous m/cs , but then its never been this early either..nor am I bleeding as heavy as I do when I have a period...and part of me thinks it should be at least that amount...But I guess its just going to be a slow process because (sorry tmi) when I go to the bathroom it is tissue that I'm passing ...I've not had any cramps this time either - again maybe because its so early....I'm fine, no blubbering mess as I normally am! Although dh is going to get a conk on the head if he refers to it as a period once more!! He tries very hard but he moves on very quickly from things, which I know is his way of dealing with it but...he forgets that while I'm still actually bleeding I can't do that - thats actually the reason I came on this forum 2.5yrs ago! I was still really depressed about that m/c and his answer was 'to move on' ...anyways.....

Our kids started their summer holidays yesterday - 7 weeks and 3 days..not that I'm counting or anything! haha! And its rained all week and looks like its going to continue...I'm starting to think that sunny spell we had WAS our summer...oh joy!

Good news about your mum Tara! Do they know what caused it?Will she have another bout of that? Amy's right , you have had a really tough year!

Name: iemc19 | Date: Jun 28th, 2008 12:40 PM
Tara - you've really got my brain going now....The more I thought about it today - and read about it - and remembered what I'd gone through before...This is so different...the bleeding hasn't gotten any heavier ..If anything its less...which means I haven't passed enough at all - by a long shot not enough! If things haven't changed/ gotten worse by Monday I'll go see my dr....

irene...i hope all goes well this weekend..have you told anyone yet? do the kids know?

Irene I pray what you are experiencing is what I did. My dr told me to stay off my feet. He said that while there is not any scientific proof that it makes a difference he said there is not strong enough evidence that it doesnt help for him not to suggest it. I went to my aunts house for the week. Dh would come there when he got off work and I just relaxed and visited w/ my cousin (who's dh was out of state working and she was staying w/ her mom). She had her laptop and I had her dads laptop and we just goofed around setting on the couch all week lol I know however that is not even a possibillity for you. She had no kids at the time (has a 5 month old now) and of couse caden is my first so we had no little ones to chase after. Good vibes headed your way!!

Yes this can happen again to my mom. From what we understand it can even get a lot worse than what she had this time. She is going to set up an appointment w/ a GI and let them explain to her what all she needs to modify to try to keep it from happening again. She is planning on heading back to work monday. I dont know how she will have the energy she works at a job putting up stock all day long but we shall see how it goes!

Hiya...ok, so my bleeding stopped altogether on Sunday...which totally made me think of what you were saying Tara...I took a home test on Monday morning (I'd taken one last Wedsnesday=positive) ..But the one i took yesterday was a big fat negative ! ! So that raelly sttled our heads down...I went to the drs today - I was bothered by how little I had actually bled...Had a blood test done to check that my levels are going down - won't get that back for a full week! Pitiful! But the joys of small town livivng I guess! And quizzed her about how little I bled...compared to previous m/cs and even my own period...She suggested that it was so little because it was so early, plus maybe - outwith the pill - my period is maybe not as heavy as when I'm on the pill? Dunno about that , its been a fair few years since I didn't take the pill, I generally fall pregnant quite quick and don't get a period after a baby until after I've actually gone back on the thing and weaned...so....She's quite happy that its all been expelled - I didn't need a d&c the last twice so she reckons my body will have taken care of that too??? DH and I sat and discussed the what if I were still pregnant - and it scared us more to continue with the 'unknowns' after a bleed than if we had had a m/c...If you understand me...I wasn't aware you had gone through that Tara...It must have made for a very scary pregnancy for you????

Name: iemc19 | Date: Jul 1st, 2008 3:16 PM
Anyway - I'm okay about it - It helps that it was so early , and maybe part of me expected it? It just means there's more chance of some of us being pregnant together!

Rianna's trying for her first sleepover again! She will stay at my mum's but hasn't managed at a friends yet! She's always home by 9pm! haha! So she's trying again - its not as if its far away - right across the road.....lol...4th July for you lot this weekend...what are you all doing? Jenn- our lot don't get any more imms now until they are 4 - pre-school boosters....What more do you get? I read here that you also get one for chickenpox !? My gp commenetd at our last appt that they were still testing on that? It came up because we were discussing new imms for the kids...Our girls start to get imms for cervical cancer at 12 from this/next year....

Name: newbabyras | Date: Jul 1st, 2008 5:43 PM
I forgot to bring my little record to the appt, but i think this was another round of Hep A and B...and one other. He got three shots in all...ugh. But he was a big boy about it...hardly cried. I still hate it, he had a pretty good fever that night.

My gma, aunt and niece are coming out for the 4th and we'll probably head over to our friends pool for the day and fireworks. it's usually a lot of fun. Walker's swim lessons are going good...but I have to hide or he screams MAMAMAMA the WHOLE time. So I stand behind the shed next to the pool and peek around the corner. the instructor says he's doing well but he hates floating on his back, which i guess is pretty common. But he loves, loves the water - - which is why I really wanted him to start lessons early - - esp since we have a hot tub. it's covered, but i have a feeling that's not going to keep this guy from trying...

Name: iemc19 | Date: Jul 1st, 2008 6:28 PM
Get away! Walker's getting swimming lessons!!! They won't even look at our kids for lessons until they turn 5!!! Jake is super confident in the water and isn't allowed to start until December - January block if we get a place! We try very hard to encourage him but he - like all the rest - won't let us remove his bands...Shocking - we are so outdated!!!

Tara, I am glad your mom is home. Irene, hang in there. Not much going on here. The house is on market, but no offers yet. We have had six people look at it. We did see a house that I really liked but I cannot fall in love with the house until we sell this one. We need a bigger place where Declan can have a yard to run around in. At the moment we are in a town house that has a very tiny yard.

BTW....we have the cutest babies! I just went to the picture gallery and saw the latest photos. I also added Declan's pictures.

irene i am sorry to heard about thebaby... I don;'t have words to say.... Gretta have a nice trip with your in-laws. Amy alexander was very sick last week, he started with a wierd discharge in his eyes and some fever, 99.9 or so, then he started to have running nose and last and worst a fever over 103 F one nigth i had to keep him cool with some wet cloths in his head. Good thinking i got and appointment just that day and i took him to the docotr and he had ear infection. The problem with ear infection is that the fever can go form 100 to 104 in less than 30 minutes .... DD suffered a lot of that and it was the same thing, discharges in her eyes, nose and then the high fever... he is ok now. Did i told you that he open a child proof medicine two days ago? I have a trampoline in the backyard he goes up and down by himself, we have to lock the doors that go outside becuase he opens doors very easy. He gets in and out of his car seat of a small car and the SUV...We have a puzzel (?) of chapes and he knows how to put it together by himself and when hi finnished he claps and say BIENNNNN (GooD) , he also says thank you when you give something to him.... everyday they do something new.... He saw my sister and he touch his feet so gentle and put a face of " oh how cute" my sister and her mother in law were laughing big time.... I am sorry to write not as often but this site is driving me nuts with the ads.. and by the site ty to instal S$%#T in my coputer makes me very angry... TARa I AM GLAD YOUR MOM IS OUT THE HOSPITAL. and hopefully she will get some color in her face. But being in the hospital for some time makes anybody pale... Glad she is much better....

Son, about your house, I understand about not falling in love with a house.. I did long time ago with one t house and i talked to the owner and gave my address in case the buyers didn't get finance etc. Well the house was sold andi was heart broken... After that i wanted a house equal or better but .not less it was hard to find one like that. We decided to buy form a builder in a new community and then i got a better house and for the same amount of money but new. But i was hart broken for about half year trying to find a house like that one and blaming dh for not hurriyng to get the contract ready on time. Poor DH honestly he always get the blame on everything.. even when is my fault... :-(
that is why I love him, he is just a perfect man ,... to good to be true...We celbrate our 11 anyversary last friday... time flyes fast when you are having fun

I forgot to tell you the doctor weight him las tuesday and he was 34 3/4 " and 27lbs 7oz....

Name: catgiggles | Date: Jul 1st, 2008 11:47 PM
wow Zay I think he is possibly about 3 inches taller than Caden already. Caden is such a runt lol. I think we are going to rent him a tux for that pagent. I really hate that we are spending that much money on the pagent but my cuz really really wanted him in one and she is the one nice enough to hook us up w/ that room for our vacation so cheap so I guess I can shell out 75 bucks (that is for the tux and reg. fee). We are having trouble finding him anything to wear and its 40 bucks to rent the tux and it comes w/ shoes. We do not dress him in suits to go to church our church is def. laid back. Dh wears blue jeans every sunday morning and i do sometimes. I figured by the time I drove to little rock that costs about 15 to 20 bucks in gas now and then bought something and some shoes it would cost over what the rental would be.

Yes the pregnancy was very scary for me especially since it took us so long to get pregnant. We had wondered if I had had several m/c before b/c sometimes I would be several days late and then would get extreme cramps, heavy bleeding, and large clots (sorry if tmi). So when we finally went to the dr to start testing we ask and he said that it could be a possibilty but no way to be certain if that was what had been happening. So I was thinking to myself what if some how our dna is not matching up well and this baby is going to have severe medical problems. Then there was a period of time where I did not feel him move for over 24 hours (i cant remember how far along I was I believe in my 6th month). I had just been complaining that he moved all nite and I was not getting any rest. Then I was saying I wont ever complain about him moving again! lol Dh called the dr and he had us come in we heard the heart beat and he told us that sometimes they turn and kick more to the back and you dont feel it as well. I'm really not sure if he just made that up to make me feel better or what haha but sounded good to me. All I needed to hear was the heartbeat and I was good. I even thought about renting one of those dopplers. I just worried the whole pregnancy.

My mom is returning to work tomorrow. The dr said she could go back on monday but the schedule was already made out and they had taken her off for mon and tuesday. I really think she needed those two days. I can tell she is still weak. Im not really sure why he thought she would be ok by then she did not get released til 5pm on friday and had puked for 8 days straight. She lost 9lbs. Thats actual lost not just fluids b/c that is how much she is down now that she is eating and drinking again. Not meaning to sound ugly but she had the lbs to spare so its not that big of a deal that she lost it just that is a lot to lose in just that short a period of time...Mom said she was wanting to lose weight but that wasnt the way she had in mind lol.......For the fourth we (caden and I) are going to my cousins house for a cookout and fire works. Dh has to work. Maybe it will fall next year where he gets to be off on the fourth!

My son has become the energizer bunny...he is non-stop. He is running everywhere and into everything. I am so tired. He keeps trying to get into things...like the fireplace. I sat him yesterday and tried to explain why he could not do that...he just laughs. He thinks even when I am serious that it is a game.

Name: iemc19 | Date: Jul 2nd, 2008 2:32 PM
Haha Son - I can just picture that! They are such little toe-tags at this age huh?? I love it - Aiden is constantly looking for mischief or a means to escape!! We've been fencing - again - and there has been open space for him to escape to...but he always checks to make sure we're looking the other way...But we have the ultimate prison - the trampoline enclosure!! LOL!
