Overeating?

Hi Ladies. I have a question and i'm sure I'm just being paranoid but I thought I'd ask anyways. Well my baby is 5 days old and for the first 2 days she wasn't eating very well. I actually had to go back to the hospital and someone from the nursery had to come down and show me how to get her to eat when she didn't want to. So once they showed me how, I'd wake her up to eat and she'd eat every 4 hours. Anyways, starting around the 3rd day she started eating about every two hours (like maybe 1 hr and 45 minutes). Is that too often? I'm really glad she's eating on her own now, but now Im worried she's eating too much. My appointment isn't until Monday so I was just hoping to get some advise from you ladies until then. THanks!

No she isnt eating too much, they are crazy eaters at that age..seems all you do is feed them for the first few weeks! TIRING! From the end of one feed to the beginning of the next, my dd went about an hour and a half when she was that age.

When they are as little as her feeding on demand is best. So if she acts hungry feed her.
