I was wondering if anyone is still having good luck with sohojobs.com. I am thinking about signing up because I need a job for money and I have a 6 month old and a 2 1/2 year old. Those of you who do work for them and have kids are you able to take care of your kids and work too? Like if I wanted to work in the evenings or at night or work while my husbands home to take care of the kids or work on it while the kids are taking a nap do they have jobs that I can do the with Hope this makes sense. ↓

I wrote them on a Sunday and heard from them on Thursday or Friday can't remember exactly which day it was...did you check your junk mail folder and make sure it didn't go in there? mine did and I had to say it wasn't junk mail, but it is real...I'm not a person to lie about something. And I am a very skeptical person also ...but I decided to go ahead and check it out adn I did and I got on and all that and there are tons of jobs that they post every monday plus you can go in and apply for past jobs that they posted also. but its real... ↑

mom of 2 have you gotten a job yet?...about how much do these jobs pay? what kind of jobs do they offer...I hate being on the phone? ↑

No I haven't gotten a job yet because I live with my parents right now and I can't use there phone, fax, printer and all that because they use it for thier business. So I am not going to be able to get a job until I get my own place.
The pay depends on your experience and most of them pay between $8 -$20 a hour depending on experience. There's alot of different types of jobs.
Theres some you dont have to be on the phone and theres some you do have to be on the phone. I dont care what type of job I get, just as long as it pays money.
If you give me your email I will send you a free issue of jobs that they post for people to see. ↑

great thanks...I am a personal assistant right now and work 60+ hours a week and I can't contuine when my son is here and since I am doing this on my own I want a job that I can possible to at home with my son. I just don't want to do sells thats what I ment by on the phone. but my email is bea_love at yahoo.com ↑
So how do you get the jobs, how do you interview for them? Do you have required hours? How does it all work? I am really wanting to stay home with my 7 month old and I have considered home day care work but I don't know if I really want to do that? I want to still be able to work later on so if I do a stay at home thing it might be better then doing a home day care. ↑

There's several different jobs. You apply for them just like you would a regular job. They interview you over the phone. It depends on what jobs you get if you have required hours or not. ↑

i'm really interested in this. i'm thinking of signing up. i'm pregnant with my first and really don't want to pay for child care but still need to make money. are the jobs short term? like only a few weeks or months at a time - or can you get a secure full-time job? ↑

you can get full time or short term just depends on which ones you apply for ↑
