Hi Ladies - its nice to have a new thread isnt it. Well, i forgot to tell you that my appointment was cancelled for this week, i went to see the midwife today instead and hb is fine and my bump is still enormous, its measuring at 35 weeks whereas i am actually 29 and a half. She insisted on doing it twice and tried her best to make it smaller - i was almost squeeling with pain because she was pressing so hard. I asked them why i was measuring large when the baby himself measures to dates and im not carrying hardly any fluid and havent put excessive weight on and they basically just ignored me. I really dont like my midwives. Anyway, everythings fine, he is kicking madly at the moment so im not too stressed about missing my weekly scan. I feel ok and i feel he is so thats what matters i guess. Ok, who was it that was saying about the weight? I think it was jstaley or bryandi. Anyway i was going to say, i didnt put a pound on until after 20weeks and since then ive put about 14 on, so in total for almost 30 weeks ive put on 14lbs. But i remember worrying why i hadnt put more on in the earlier stages, but now im glad i didnt!! If your bump is growing well and the babies ok then i wouldnt worry about it too much. I feel like im piling it on now and im starting to worry about it, because i was overweight to start with. I was with a friend today who is due the week after me and shes put more weight on but her bump is tiny compared to mine. We were just comparing our baby notes though and our babies measure more or less the same at the same weeks so obviously its just different girls carrying it differently. We went for a lovely swim this afternoon! It was funny to see people staring at us. Anyway, i just thought id update. Cant wait to hear some bfp's this month! Im rolling out the blue carpet (because we dont want to see any red carpets do we hehe) in anticipation. Glad everyones ok, and well im off to eat something - hopefully healthy but preferably chocolate!! x x ↑
LISA - you are so right, i have been checking throughout the day, but am busy catching up for all that googling i was doing yesterday and monday about O-ing and temps and early pg signs, you name it, i probably googled it. haha. how are things with you? sorry to hear about ds not wanting to hang out w/ex, but JSTALEY is right, you'll be his favorite! how is dh w/ds? as for me, i am actually thinking i may just give in and test to get it out of my system. there is NO way it will be bfp b/c it's too early. even though AF is expected on tues., the truth is that my cycles have been out of whack since the mc so who knows if that's an accurate guess. tomorrow is actually 5 days before suspected AF, and that's what they advertise right on the hpts, right? that you can have results up to 5 days before AF? even if that's the case, it's probably not going to be bfp b/c i think i O-ed monday and by thurs. it's tooooo early for anything. but i just want to poas and get it out. i'll let you know what i decide. MISSP - i am so glad that you and tyler are doing so well, God bless. i was getting concerned when i didn't hear from you. JSTALEY - is it possible that you lost like 10 pounds from being sick but ended up gaining it back b/c of baby bump? if that's the case, you needn't worry and even if that's not the case MISSP said she didn't put on anything until after 20 weeks. i am sure it's all fine, God willing. ok, gotta get back to work. please pray i don't go insance waiting. technically i should poas on the 31st the earliest since i think that's 10dpo, but i can't help it. someone talk some sense into me! ↑
I just have a minute but want to tell JILL...... don't worry about the weight. Talk it over with your dr when you can but for now it is nothing to worry about. I have not gained a singal pound either! At my appt monday they weighed me and I saw the number and thought "That's not what I thought it's be considering my big pertruding belly here!" I asked what the last number was and she said "the same...exactly" I coulnd't believe it! Exactly the same to the .6 at the end! HA! But dr said that it was totally fine and to feel lucky. I do as I'm already heavy and I'm not looking to add more than 20 pounds tops this whole preg! Dr said gaining only 10 would be just fine as long as I'm not throwing up after 20 weeks.... and I haven't thrown up since week 16 really. So I would talk with the dr at your next appt if you are still throwing up (HOPEFULLY NOT!) and then take it from there. But I say count yourself lucky! It's really hard for some woman and who knows it may still be really hard for us later to watch the added weight! Okay.... lil Ethan and I are doing great! SMMOM.... got to go lil boy showing and return all of the girl stuff! HA! Loved it! However I didn't anticipate things being more expensive for a boy! I spent a small fortune! I guess I do like the expensive stores tho...as I only went to Baby Gap...Osh Kosh... and Old Navy.... oh! and I got the cutest Ralph Lauren outfit that I think will be what we bring him home in!!! I guess I'll have to work on that and learn to expand my shopping stores a bit more! I was just excited! ↑
guys just checking in. Re the weight question - I didn't gain a gram until about week 23 or so, and all up I only gained about 11 kgs. There is nothing to worry about so long as baby is growing. My docotr did tell me that women who are bigger (like me) don't NEED to gain that much. That said, my best friend who is a skinny minnie only gained about the same amount, and she was pregnant with twins. She did have gestational diabetes though and in the end looked like a balloon, poor thing. The point being, is lots of people don;t gain much, and just as many gain heaps for absolutely no reason! Just goes to show everyone one is different - not only that but every pregnancy is different. Please don;t worrry about it. I know I did and there was no reason. ↑
Hello ladies...Glad to hear it was a good Wednesday !!! JILL.....consider yourself LUCKY !!! I gain so much weight when PG....it sucks. And my bump gets big to !! But measuring on time, and I suppose baby is worth the weight...so long as I can get rid of it !! MISSP>..you did forget to tell us...but I am glad Tyler is kicking and doing well. dont worry about measuring ahead...with 2nd dd I measured almost 4 weeks bigger and she measured right on time !! Let me jump in although it will be a few days beore I can try.....AF is due on 17 August. But last time after my d and c it took a month or so before my cycle sorted itself.....I got pregnant the second cycle afterwards. Fingers crossed! Although maybe I need more time before ttc....I am afraid to be pregnant because while I am not I don't ahve to worry about miscarrying. Also, if I get preg this cycle the dd will be the day after my daughter's brithday.....my mum said I should hold off for that reason but I think we are given what we should have and if it is meant, i will conceive when the time is right regardless of dates. I mean babies come early and late......I can't plan something like that. What do you guys think? ↑
LILY...I think you are absolutely 100% correct !!! God gives us these miracles when he wants to and regarless of dates !!! ANd if you want another baby...then who cares about that..the baby can be born early or late !!! MISSP: Thanks for the new thread! I am so happy to hear that you and Tyler are doing so well. I bet your bump is cute, your right depending on the woman it can vary alot! I have a friend who at nine months looked about 3.... (I hated her for that!) JUDI: There you are! You are too funny about POAS! I want to but I am waiting, sometimes I SWEAR I have symptoms, but I also know that there have been times I really would have bet anything I was pregnant and I wasn't. SO I am trying not to get obsessive about it... but as you know that isn't easy!Just know that it is early and you may not get an accurate result... just don't want you disappointed, I have POAS early and gotten a BFN and then later on gotten my BFP, so I am wary of doing it too early because its just a waste... let me know what you decide... SHANA: How is it you girls aren't gaining weight? Your so lucky, with both of my failed pregnancies I put on about 10lbs each... it took me about 8 weeks to lose 32lbs.. but I had to work hard to get it off. Truth be told, the minute I found out I was pregnant I had instant cravings and I didn't consider anything off limits, I was eating high fat foods that I wouldn't touch because I know how easily I gain weight, but when I was pregnant I thought it was ok. I tell you I will not let that happen next time! SMMOM: SO close girl! I am so excited for you.... thanks for your baby dust, I am at CD20 today and about 10dpo, so next Thursday or Friday I will test. Feeling very good about it and trying to remain positive. My body sends me so many mixed messages..... I swear my bbs are bigger, but I do that every month... wishful thinking! LILLYMUMMY: ok my advice is... go for it, because your baby will come when it is supposed to and why skip a month because of the due date? Ok, pot calling the kettle black here. I considered not really trying this month because I really want a baby in May (my favorite month, plus I would get the whole summer off from work) but then when I really thought about it, I didn't really care when my baby was born. If I was lucky enough to get to have one... it can come any day in any month and I don't think it will be a big deal. Actually if I were to conceive this month my baby would be due a week after my DS's b-day which in some ways could make it easier... just one party for both... just my opinion.... ok, fertilityfriend.com suggests that i test on aug 9th if AF does not show up on the 5th. i am praying AF does not show up and whenever i test next i get that bfp along w/my ttc ladies! ↑
Ladies – I am so confused! I have no idea if I have O’d, FertilityFriend says I haven’t..my temps are weird I am crazy bloated and uncomfortable plus, I know this sounds weird, but I am all tingly “down there” and feeling big pressure inside. What is going on?????
I am out of bding mode right now, I am uncomfortable and certain that something is wrong. It’s CD 21 for me, I usually get AF around CD 32 but after the D&C I can’t be sure that everything will get back on track. Gonna wait and see what happens after next weekend (AF or not) and reassess. For the rest of my cycle buddies…how are you getting through the TWW? It doesn’t even feel that way for me cause I can’t be sure I o’d. I have never had a problem before – is it possible that the D&C can affect the ability to O? Or is my body getting back to normal – this is the second cycle since D&C….

Hello ladies...>JUDI.....OK first...you could have od on any date no matter what fertility friend says..and second..you can get pg ont he day you o !!! That is how my oldest dd is here !!!SO dont worry....it could have happened and you just dont know !!! And I will email you..I will try and do it so you can update everyone on my progress throughout...depends on how bad it is !! LOl. And you can test as early as a day or two before your missed af...some women make enough HCG by then to tell if you are pg. I usually waited until 1 day before or first day of missed af !!! So test when you are expecting af !! LISA>..that is the hard thing about waiting....all symptoms are the same as af !!! So confusing. As for ttc in which month...you got it right....in the end we dont care when out little ones comes...we just want them here with us safe !!! And if you do concieve in July ladies...then you will have APril babies !!! LEXXY....You very well could have Od....sometimes our bodies O when we dont know it....I have a friend who just found out she o'd with her 3 pg's on completely different days...and she is one who always thought she felt it when she od. So....you just have to stay positive. She also found out that with her most recent she od on cd20 !!!!!! SO seriously gals...keep up that bding. OK ladies....I am doing good...gotta take dd school shopping this weekend and I thinks he is looking forward to it !!! I am pooped and am going to bed early !!! ↑
LEXXY: Could it be possible that you are pregnant? Some of your symptoms sound like it to me. I know though that a D&C can wreak havoc on your system, so maybe its just regulating itself. I hope that you feel better soon and are on your way to your BFP! SMMOM: Thanks, yes any month is fine with me, I just want a baby and I really feel like this month could be it. God I hope so. Lilly, I agree with the others. Don't wait a cycle for dates. I didn't really want to have a baby too
close to Christmas because I thought it might detract from the babies birthday, but then decided I could make
certain that the baby's birthday is still special even if it is close to Christmas. I am thrilled that I am pg even if
I am due in December! Lexxy, I am sorry your body is sending you such crazy signals. I hope the issues resolve themselves soon!
Keep us posted on what is going on. Also you could totally have o'd even if ff says you didn't. So keep your head up! ↑
Shana, you are a dear! Thanks for remembering my sonogram! After the sono I had a work related event to go to and didn't get home till 11pm so I didn't get to post last night and I slept in so I had to rush off to work today. But now for the news. Here is a hint. We just got done painting the babies room Coral Dune......hmmm does that help? LOL if someone said that to me I would still be as confused as ever. Coral Dune is a peachy pinkish color.....soooo yup sonographer says GIRL!!!!! She was sleeping when we started the ultrasound, and she was sleeping with her legs crossed and I was worried we weren't going to be able to find out. She woke up and started moving around and then the tech had me stretch out and tipped me a bit in the chair and the legs uncrossed nice and wide for a good long look. So we are very excited. Now we need to start thinking of names. LOL you ladies are all so good at it having a name ready as soon as you find out what you are having. DH and I will assess and reassess and make lists upon lists right up until the night before the baby is born. Well that is the way it happened with Tabby and Rory, maybe we will surprise ourselves this time around! ↑

I ovulated on cd 20 and now I am cd 24 and 4 dpo. I am not sure that when I am going to test but I am trying to be very laid back about this month. Not planning every second around ttc. Re names, DH and I argued for months about a girls name, and literally Lily struck us both on the same night when I was about 38 weeks! And we both love it. I know what we would have if we had a boy next, but if we have another girl, I know we would have another 38 weeks of arguing. Especially since now I know that it really does matter that you adore the name and you wouldn't want any regrets afterwards. I adore one particular name, but he really doesn't like it. Anyhoo! had some good deals and it is a good thing. Man was it an expensive trip. I can't imagine if we had paid full price for everything. Now the kids are all set except
that Rory still needs some sneakers, but I am waiting till he it is cool enough that he can't wear his sandals anymore so we get the best size for him. We also need to
get snowpants and winter coats and boots for the both of them which will be super expensive! I can't believe they charge 24 dollars for a pair of little jeans when a pair of jeans
for me costs that much! LOL it drives me crazy every time we change seasons how expensive things are. You would think I would be used to it by now 3 years and 2 kids later! Shana,
DH is thrilled! We both wanted another girl this time around! We went and picked out paint after dinner on Friday and then painted the room that night after the kids went to bed. We didn't
know what color we wanted, but Tabby's room is a purple color so we didn't want to do any shade of purple in this baby's room so we looked at the peaches because neither of us like the idea of a
pink room. SO we settled on a mostly peach with a hint of pink in it. I think it is going to look really nice. We started to lay the laminate wood flooring today which is a reddish color and our molding
will also be a reddish color. I can't wait till it is done! It must be tough trying to decide what theme and things you want to put in the baby's room. We are using Tabby's old crib set for this baby and when she
gets old enough to develop favorites we will get her something that suits her personality or that she picks out herself. THat is the nice thing about having a boy and girl already. Either way we have a crib set and
pictures and other things to decorate with for each gender. Good luck with your planning and shopping! Oh and we have added two names to our list. Ember Ivy (I have mentioned this one before) and Maili (pronounced Maylee) we haven't gotten as far

Dec 9, 2007. I think we will be taking a bottle of champagne to the hospital with us! HEHE. SMMOM, how are you and Carson holding up? Shireen and I are doing good so far. I finally got the results of the last u/s and her kidney is still dilated so its something that will have to be dealt with at birth (sorry if i'm repeating myself, its the pg brain). I am huge!!! I did not think I could possibly get any bigger. I am also very moody! Which I don't really like so I try to be nice but sometimes I really get ticked off at people for nothing. Then i feel horrible about it. Thank God dh is so understanding. In other great news!!! I had the ultrasound done on my breast and it turns out the lump (and the only thing they could find for that matter) is a 6mm cyst. So obviously I am thrilled about the news. I was so happy I actually went and got myself some nursing tops. YAY!!! I am now 37 weeks along. I started getting the same kinda cramps I get a few days before AF shows up. But so far everything is pretty random. I will see the dr on tuesday, and take it from there. Hope you all have a great sunday!!! ↑
Hello ladies...Happy Sunday !!! DH and I did some stuff in the yard yesterday...as it was actually decent weather yesterday !!! Now If I could just get the house in order and cleaned all will be good and I can relax !!! SHANAT....finding stuff for boys I think is harder then girls. I have a whole list of gilr things and names that I like. Boys...it took us a lot longer to find a theme and a name !!!But it will all come in place for you. BRYANDI....I couldnt help myself yesterday...I took her to GAP and they had such good sales. The only good store at our outlet here is OshKosh...which is where I have gotten her clothes the last few years. SO...she really had fun getting new clothes. I also took her to a store called Justice...which is exactly the same as Limited 2. And yes...jeans for a little kid are the same as what it costs for an adult. I looked at jeans for Carson, size 0-3 months cost

I hope you have your bags packed and ready! Smmom I love Gap kids clothing. We have a Gap outlet, but I try not to go there because instead of buying sale stuff I always fall in love with the non sale items and I am a sucker for cute clothing for my kids! We also have an Osh Kosh, Carter's and Children's Place. So I hadn't gotten on the scales in a while, but finally got up the courage this morning. I was actually surprised in a good way. I have only gained 17 pounds!!! I know, I know, to Jstay and Shana, my cycle buddies that probably sounds awful, but for me that is really really good! My goal was 39 pounds, 1 pound per week. I started off way ahead of myself in weight, but lately the weeks have started to take the lead! In my previous pregnancies I gained between 50 and 55 pounds so I am trying to keep 11 to 16 pounds less than usual. I haven't gained too much anywhere besides my bottom, boobs and belly. And mostly in my belly. I have quite the bump now. I couldn't hide the fact that I am pg if I tried. MissP tomorrow starts a new week! I am already thinking of you with your Tuesday appt and hoping that you are given another week to cook Tyler a little bit more! How are all you other ladies doing? ↑
Hello ladies....I hope you all have a good MOnday !! BRYANDI>...gaining that little weight is awesome !!! I gainedd only 10 lbs my first trimester and was so happy cause I always gain 55-65 lbs also. Well...it didnt last long...I think with Carson I am at 50 !! BOO ! But he is worth it. I just want to be able to lose it in the end !! I got bit by a mosquito again last night, and i have always kinda had a reaction to them...I swell up with a big lump where ever I get bit....well this am I woke up and my whole upper arm is swollen. And my ob doc just told me to be careful of Mosquitos cause of west nile virus. So now I am worried. Anyways....Bryandi...I have an Osh Kosha and a Carters...I so wish we had a Gap at our outlet...but we do have one that is huge and has good sales alot. Our outlet seriously needs a facelift !!! Anyways...I have to take dd ot get her school bag...so we have to go back there !! Oh well...MISSP>...tomarrow is your big appt !!!
