Woo Hoo on part 100! Welcome! Thanks Stef for starting it, we have all come a long way together and hopefully will continue to do so. We have been a great support system for each other and we need to keep that up! Kathy, thanks on the pics. I am sure proud! :) sounds like things are going well at home. Sorry that recovery is taking some time but you will be back to 100% soon! I am so glad your BF took the time off to help you get settled. Is Gavin sleeping better? Can you even believe he is here? He is so cute!! Well, I made it to Curves today and will go tomorrow. I have my 1st shower this weekend at home in Atlanta. My Aunt and cousins are giving it for me. I am excited. Ok, I have got to get busy since I will not be here on Friday. I hope everyone is having a super morning!

good morning girls- LORI- so good to hear form you! glad Brevin is being such a good baby...wow you are kinda making me nervous to have a toddler and a newborn! I don't have older kids to help...hopefully Anna will fit right in to the mix of things! KATHY- so good to hear from you too! soory that recovery is taking so long, but honestly, after all that these babies do to our bodies over nine months, I am surprised that we are able to do anything at all!!! How is breastfeeding going for you? has he taken right to it? STEF- thank you for what you said aout me being on bedrest...YES it has been a long journey that I NEVER want to do again!!!! and some days are definitely better than others, but concidering today is day 71 (yikes) I'd say i'm over the hump and I take comfort in that! And I am so proud of you too!!! Can you believe that a month from now you are going to be a MOM???!!! you have come so far and really deserve this. I love your opening to this thread, but I think that you already know that the most joyful time of your life is just around the corner! FRANCES--- 8-8 is a VERY cool due date! I would want to keep that one too! but you are measuring ahead, so you never know! I still have a feeling that Anna is coming closer to her due date than the doctors ever thought, but if I go past my due date I am going to ask to be induced on 8-8-08 so she can have a cool b-day! (they would owe it to me by then for putting me through all of this!) ALLIE- I am so hoping that one of these posts willbe about af showing up for you!!! we need to get her here and then send her on her way!!!!

Wow 100 threads since the beginning. Actually for some reason its emotional to see how far we have all come since the beginning. I am so blessed to have come across each and every one of you. I love you all. i mean that. OK enough of the mushy JUSTIN SLEPT THRU THE ENTIRE NIGHT FROM 830P-500A. Ok thats in caps. LOL. After the 5am feeding he went back to sleep till 730am. Holy crap we also gave him a 1 tsp of cereal in his bottle before bed. Dont know if it agreed with him at 930p he woke up with a poopie diaper and he was crying which isnt like him so we bathed him because it was like a crime scene down there and he passed out. So i am going to only do a 1/2 tsp tonite to see if its the rice cereal not agreeing with him again or he just had to go the bathroom. Once we had changed his diaper he was completely fine laughing and smiling thru the whole bath so i dont know if it was the cereal or he got scared because he never poops at night and it woke him up. Any veteran suggestions on here ???

WOW! part 100!! I am so happy to be part of this wonderful group! Maggie, are you still here? If you are, hang in there! you won't be pregnant much longer! Lori, great to see you post. I don't know how to manage to squeeze time to go online with a toddler and a newborn. With 1 newborn, I was going crazy and busy every seconds during the first month. Kathy, how's adjusting to motherhood? It's a big challenge and you are handling it very well. Recovering is going to take a while. Be nice to your body, and don't over do it. Jazlyn is getting biger each day, she is 11 weeks now. I looked at her newborn pictures the other day, and realized how big she has grown and changed. She loves cooing and smiling... She melts my heart everytime I look at her smile. I also posted some pictures on piczo site.

Robyn, congrats on Justin STTN! Jazlyn did that for the first time last night!! I think I am jinxing myself by saying this, but it's such a huge milestone for her!! She has been sleeping from 8:30-3ish for about 1 week, wake up for a feeding, then back to sleep till about 7am. But the last 2 nights been extra cranky. She wasn't sleeping well at all, woke up every 2-3 hours just want to be held. Then last night, I gave her a bath, nursed her, changed her again since she poop, sang to her, then finally put her in her crib at 8:30. She slept till 6am this morning!! Although she slept till 6am, I still woke up twice last night to make sure that she was alright, and pump since I was so engorge.

hi ladies - STEF - wow 100 == we are lucky you put this together and have kept us strong! ---- ROBYN congrats on justin sleeping thru the night (albiet not the poop) - i've heard pro's and cons about cereal in the bottle - but i breastfed the whole time so i am not much help. CYNN - congrats to you for jaz sleeping thru the night - how old is she now? ----- FRANCES i agree with SARA - i like 8-8-8 as a bday too! infact i am wondering how i can get this guy to come out on 6-7-8 not that i am ready now or will be then either!!! but if it's meant to be i'm ok with it. ----- on that note - i have to go get ready for kayla's ballet class - and then to the OB 's i have had a headache all night long & barely slept. (hoping it's just anxiety about whether we are having him tomorrow or not!!) -- but yesterday i had 2 sets of white twinkling light sort of stuff in my eyes - kinda like the little sparklers you hold on 4th of july - it was on 2 separate occasions but it freaked me a little - and i am definitely going to mention it today at the appt. i am sure it was just anxiety over the unknown of this happening tomorrow or not. i have to pack a bag when i get home today - just in case. ok off to ballet & the doctors appt - could be the last pregnant one - not sure - but hoping it's not. --- big hello to everyone!!

Julie, sounds like a spike in your blood pressure. I remember Robyn talking about it. Robyn AND Cynn, congrats on the little ones for sleeping thru the night! Amazing! I hope it sticks! 8-8-8 would be a cool day for ABJj to come esp since 8 is my favorite number. We shall see how it goes the next few weeks. I have a "pro" question too. I will be 32 weeks next week (wow) and they are going to start the non stress tests on a weekly basis, is that normal? I know that some if not all of you had them. I just wanted to make sure that is what I should expect right now. Thanks!

Name: saramcg | Date: Jun 4th, 2008 11:55 AM
JULIE- I hear ya on the 6-7-8 being a VERY cute b-day! I bet there are a lot of weddings on that day too!!! Plus it being a saturday! 8-8-8 is a Friday, so I would imagine that day is booked too! Good luck at the docs today...I hope that everything works out the way that you want it to. I cant believe that it could be tomorrow! CYNN and ROBYN, so glad that your little ones are sleeping through the night! it makes such a difference when mom can get 6-8 hours straight!

Name: saramcg | Date: Jun 4th, 2008 11:59 AM
Hey FRANCES- I never had to do NST's but they can't hurt. it is probably because you have been going to the high-risk doc. But hey, they may make the weeks go by faster for you. I know that going to weekly appts has really helped me along! OH and have fun at your shower this weekend- I meant to tell you that earlier.

8-8-08 will be so cool!!! Especially for Chinese! 8 is a lucky number for Chinese, it sounds like Fortune and Prosperity in Cantonese. My nephew was born on 8/8/02. Julie, take it easy!!

Name: ROBYN | Date: Jun 4th, 2008 12:16 PM
JULIE - ooh that sparkly thing in front of your eyes in the HBP sweety thats not a great sign i hate to tell ya everytime i had that happen i would take my b/p to only find it spiked up waaaay high. So please take it easy. I think 6/7/8 is really cool. Oh an FRANCES - 8 is definitely my fav number especially with my nascar and Dale Jr. Though hes not 8 anymore 88 is the new number which is even better. I was excited Justin being born with 8's in his b-day especially the day after Daytona. Ok i am just a little redneck LOL. OH the NSTs are no big deal AT ALL i had tons of them. They are just gonna monitor the h/r and contractions if any no biggie its kinda cool actually. They will just strap 2 straps to your belly the baby might move more with it on your belly it kinda annoys them but its a great way to monitor things. When i did it at the peris office i was on it for 30 -45 min and at the hospital it was several hours. CYNN - congrats on your Jaz sleeping thru the night also. I think mine is a fluke LOL though hes a pretty good sleeper for the most part at night only waking 1 - 2 times a night. OH JULIE - yeah i heard also about pros/cons with the cereal in the bottle as well. Who the heck knows whats the best to do soooo many people do it with no problems i know the pedi is going to start him on cereal when we visit him on the 19th. But it will be starting him with a spoon. Hes eating 36 - 40 ounces a day so hes a hungry little man. I will try the cereal one more time tonite just giving him 1/2 tsp instead of a whole and see if it happens again or if it sustains him like it did last night.

Name: FrancesM | Date: Jun 4th, 2008 12:24 PM
Robyn, thanks for the scoop on the nst. Sara, wonder if you will have to have them now cause of your cervix...Robyn, Johns daughter had food in her bottle at 2 WEEKS! She was starving and was not satisfied on formula alone. If it gives him a full belly to make it thru the night I say go for it! Good luck tonight. I hope you don't have diaper change duty in the middle of the night! LOL That is funny about Dale Jr...Cynn, thanks for the interpretation on the 8's. Very cool!

Name: ROBYN | Date: Jun 4th, 2008 12:27 PM
FRANCES - thanks also on the info for the cereal my sis started both daughters at like 3 weeks though just a little too young for me she did and they are both surviving well and healthy. lily will be 1 at the end of the month and Madison is going to be 4 in Sept. so people do whatever works. Like i mentioned i will try it one more time if it gives a problem again i am done till he sees the pedi.

Name: ROBYN | Date: Jun 4th, 2008 12:52 PM
OK i know i havent shut up about the stupid cereal in the bottle but i did some more research and i am not going to put cereal in his bottle i feel more comfortable waiting to see the pedi and i just dont know if its good to put it in his bottle from what i am reading. I know tons of people do it but what if digestively his body isnt ready yet and i am giving him something technically he doesnt need yet. So my gut says no and i am going to listen to myself. Ok now i feeling better talking to myself LOL vent over....

Name: FrancesM | Date: Jun 4th, 2008 1:10 PM
LOL at Robyn, talk it out girl, talk it out! LOL That is cool to wait and talk to the pedi. That way you can be 100%!

Name: ROBYN | Date: Jun 4th, 2008 1:22 PM
FRANCES - LOL we all talk to ourselves i just put out there in type LOL. I dont know what my issue is i guess i am just so safraid of doing something that isnt necessary at this point. Hes growing well and gaining well so we are doing something right RIGHT ?? So why fix something thats not broken.

Name: cynnababy | Date: Jun 4th, 2008 2:20 PM
Robyn, LOL on the talk it out loud, or more like talk in writing?! Do whatever is good for you, and yu feel comfortable with. Justin sure can eat!! I nurse Jaz every morning b4 i go into work, then she gets 3 bottles (4-5oz) when I am at work, then I nurse her before she sleep.

Name: stefkay | Date: Jun 4th, 2008 2:38 PM
Hi girls! FRANCES, I'm 36 weeks almost and have not had an NST. I don't know if and when my doc will do one so you probably are having them early due to the high risk dr. and the bp stuff. JULIE, good luck at the dr's today! Hey, I had the sparklies in my eyes a few times here and there, especially right after getting out of the shower and called the nurse and talked to the dr. and they said it was normal. I guess in my case it is because I always heard it meant high bp, but my bp is actually low (lower than norm) and has been every time I have an appt. or I check it myself at the store, so I don't know what is up with that. I don't have any other symptoms of high bp so dr. doesn't seem to be worried. If you've already shown to have the high readings then it is probably indicative of that.

Okay ladies congrats on the 100th thread. That is awesome!!!! Well I tested tonight a little early I know but I thought well if I am pg it would tell me by now as according to ff I should get af tomorrow but I don’t think it will come until Sat. as my temps generally drop for two days and then I get af. Allie it looks like it is you and me that needs to get a bfp. Robyn – Congrats on Justin sleeping thru the night that is great I really hope for your sake that it continues. Oh yea on the whole number 8 thing that is my favorite number also my bday is 12-28-78 and my soccer and hockey number was also 8 being born on 8-8-08 would be awesome. Frances I also wanted to mention that yes I did think I had a positive test last week but I kind of think it was defective because when I looked at it the next morning it had circles in it. I am not sure what happened but I don’t think this is my month. I am really getting frustrated with the whole situation. I told dh that he better be ready because we are doing it everyday from CD7 to CD14 and maybe earlier and maybe later. Thank you ladies for all of your support you have given me it truly has gotten me through the last few months I so appreciate you all more than you know. Jenna

Hi ladies!! HAPPY 100TH TO US ALL!! i think i joined around the 12th thread. we sure have travled some long and winding roads!!........JULIE- i agree with the girls about your BP and with the swelling i am wondering what your Doc said today! will tomorrow be THE day???...ROBYN- follow your instincts. i did with Clay (i had no idea there were "rules") and he is happy and healthy!...FRANCES- your man is a doll!! i love the cheeks!! What did your DH think about the pics??...HI TO EVERYONE !!

Name: ROBYN | Date: Jun 4th, 2008 8:36 PM
JENNA - i really hope you get your BFP i know you dont need me to tell ya that LOL. But its got to be beyond frustrating. Everything is crossed for you sweety. JEN - so DH said we should try a 1/2 tsp tonite in his formula he thinks it was a fluke what happened last night and he said he understands my fears about it but if it happens again tonite then we wont try again UGGH so i am such a hypocrite and i gave him totally against my better judgement but i will have the full update or blowout tomorrow morning LOL Jus is sound asleep for the moment. I dont think there are "rules per se" either its just when i read everywhere on these stupid forums i also read on "The Nest" its a part of a forum called "The Knot" i was on that when we got married and they have a baby section and these girls man they can really be in your face but i see the question asked over and over and some people are very casual about it and some people will like rip your effing head off how dare you do this or that what the hell is wrong with you so it makes you kinda always question if things are right or wrong not that these people are the gospel or anything it just puts a question mark over my head. But i will let you know. How are you feeling? I have to check out your pics. Anyway Dh is cooking dinner and i am resting. My back kills me from lifting Justin all day and i think i might be getting some carpal tunnel it hurt for me to break spaghetti tonite for anthonys dinner.

hi girls - WOW what a LONG DAY! i'll keep it short - i am NOT having baby boy tomorrow - his lungs are not ready enough according to the doc -- i don't ever want another amnio ever! i hated it. now i am supposed to take it easy and rest (MORE) for the next 24 - 48 hours. but as for the rest of the appt - my protein came back a "trace" so did glucose - so they are going to watch that - and the BP was down from last week but not down to my normal "low" so he is going to bring me back on monday instead of next wed/thurs like i have been going. as for the "sparkley white twinkles" - he said it's likely BP == either going way up or way down - and it's a signal for my body to take a break from what i am doing - lay down and get some fluids and rest. if it happens multiple times i am to call L&D - he is on call and in the OR tomorrow so if i need anything in the next 24 hrs that is where i'll reach him. he did say if i get any cramping or anything that seems really odd - call L&D -- i asked if i should get a BP monitor - and he said not yet - i am still in an OK level - --- - but i am still only dilated 1cm - and FRANCES - i had the NST today - fluid is fine - baby is fine - but still needs cooking - and i had ZERO contractions while i was hooked up. robyn explained the NST perfectly. that is exactly what they did with me. so back to bed - SARA you are my idol for enduring this for 71 + days!! --- JENNA sorry if this is not your month - hopefully you and ALLIE will both get BFP's in the next month or 2 - sending you both plenty of baby dust! --- ROBYN -- you'll know what to do in your mind - or ask your mom about her thoughts on the feedings - if it were me - (just my opinion) i'd hold off on the cereal for now too - he may be too small (immature digestively) for now - your pedi can shed more light on things. ------ ZEN good to hear from you - how are you feeling? any names yet for your new bundle? (like i should talk!?!) aer you still feeling son? did you get robyn's prediction too? --------- ok have to go back to bed.

Name: julie2007 | Date: Jun 4th, 2008 8:55 PM
QUICK QUESTIONS if you don' t mind sharing ----- GIRLS WITH SONS - did you circumcise or not? my pedi says it's split 50-50% right now half new parents do half don't.......... DH & i don't agree on whether to do or not do it. any thoughts / opinions will be carefully considered - i do realize it's personal choice - but i just dont' know what to do - girls are so much easier!

Evening ladies. Thanks Jen! He loved the pics. He sent them to a couple of people at work from his phone (proud daddy) and his boss showed him that ABJj was on his phone this morning. I think the boss is just as excited! :) Dh is excited. Love your belly shot (and clean mirror-lol). You are looking good! Jenna, poo on the test. I hate that. You and Allie will be great cycle buddies and of course, we will be here cheering you guys on!! Try not to get too frustrated with it. I know it can be hard. When it is your time, it will happen, you have to know that. Hang in there we are rooting for you! Allie too! Please please please let af come for Allie!! Julie, I just asked Dh about circumcision just now and he said "hell yes", I am with him 100%. So that is my opinion. I am glad your vitals are good and things are with in normal range. Crawl your butt back in the bed miss! I am glad you are not having to wait a week to see the Dr again and I hope you do not have to call the Dr tonight! Robyn, be sure to let us know what the pedi says about the cereal. When is his appt? Well, it is winding down time now. Laundry almost done 1/2 of the hardwoods done (what a pain) and the bedroom is vacuumed. A little at a time! Have a great evening. Talk to you guys tomorrow!

Name: MPear | Date: Jun 4th, 2008 10:15 PM
JULIE: When Alex and I talked about circumcision we both ended up agreeing. However, one of our thoughts was Jr should look like Daddy. He's going to see Daddy naked and compare himself (inevitably) to him. Can you imagine the talk if they looked different? Manageable, I'm sure; but something we'd prefer not to fight. Also, we decided circumcising would be easier to manage on a little one. Hope that helps! What are you leaning towards?

Name: ChattyKathy | Date: Jun 5th, 2008 4:55 AM
JULIE, sorry to hear about his lungs not being ready. When is the next possible date for induction? - to answer your question, I got Gavin circumsized mostly because I saw what happened to my baby cousin when his got horribly infected and he had to have one later in life. Not to mention other horror stories I've heard. It was a hard decision to make and I cried when they took him away for it to be done (almost told them to call it off!) but I'd rather him have it done now when he wont remember it. His recovery is going really well, too. Pretty speedy.

Hello ladies, sorry I have been MIA! Damn laptop screen made silly little noises and died the death. It has taken me 2 (yes 2!) days to prise damn hubby off the sodding computer to get on and see where these BFP's and babies are. I am disappointed to see you ladies aren't co-operating! LOL! Robyn, Justin is fine on the solids. As for the bottle - it's a no no. Give it to him on a plastic/soft spoon not through the bottle and carry it on. Part of the reason for not through the bottle is it concentrating on his gums etc Little and often and hopefully it won't overload his system. It used to be recommended to wean between 4-6months, now it is 6 months plus but Imogen has been on solids since about 13weeks or so and is up to four meals a day with breastfeeds and she STILL gets up once during the night. After friends have been next week she will be goig into her own room and I think she will then sleep through the night. We are disturbing each other. Okay Julie, as for circumcision - I have three boys and not one of them has had it done. None of the males in my family have had it and none of them have had any problems what-so-ever. It is usually for religious reasons here it is done but as standard it isn't even mentioned to the mothers unless they request it. I know it was never mentioned to me. Personal decision as you said but if you are going to go for it I would definitely do it when they are tiny. faster recovery fpr the mother! LOL! Babies heal pretty well too, whereas toddlers and older children are guaranteed to aggravate things, itch etc. Okay, soory for the quick skimming and reply, hopefully back soon. It would appear I need to open the restaurant for a VERY bitchy customer. Take care ladies!

Hi Girls, Well my AF is sort of here. I was spotting some yesterday, and today i'm still spotting, not like a real AF at all. I called the RE and i'm going in for an u/s tomorrow. I'm supposed to start taking the Famera on CD3 but i dont know when CD3 would be. It's all sooo annoying! I just want to feel a woosh and have a waterfall of red! ooh, that is gross actually! ha ha SARA-August 8 would be a cool birthday to have! I always thought that 6/7/08 would be a cool one too. Maggie, that could be Jacks still! ROBYN- awesome that Justin slept through the night! CYNN-wow, can't believe jazlyn is 11 weeks already! JENNA-yes, our bfp's are coming soon! we just need a tiny bit more patience! Though mine is starting to wear a bit thin! :) JULIE- i believe in circumcision, always have. I know it's a personal choice but to me it just seems cleaner though like TOry said no one in her family has ever had a problem so who really knows! I like what Maggie said about looking like Daddy. Never thought about it but it makes sense. KATHY-how is Gavin doing? have you been able to get much sleep? LORI-how are you doing? HI STEF and FRANCES!! ZEN-I must have joined CS right after you! I still can't believe I've known you girls for a year already! Crazy! I hope everyone else is doing well!

Hey girls, Can anyone tell me what its like to lose your mucus plug? I can't be sure -- but I just went to the bathroom and out came (stop reading if you want to avoid TMI) a ton, way more than usual, of CM but it was thick -- like snot. Could that have been it? ALLIE: Girl! I am so hopeful for you it turns into the real deal. FINGERS CROSSED. You've waited forever for this.
