Many apologies if this has already been answered but I'm pretty concerned about a situation that has happened to me & I'm needing answers.
First off, my periods last anywhere between 3 and 5 days & there's usually 24 - 26 days between them. I started on July 2nd and ended on July 5th.
My fiance & I had sex on July 5th early in the morning.. probably sometime around 3 a.m. & he went twice. I know it would be way too early for me to even begin to realize if I'm pregnant or not, but I was wondering if anyone has gotten pregnant while having sex on their period. I've heard that it is very unlikely but I've also heard that it does happen.
If anyone has any information they can give me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Typically you ovulate 14 days before the start of your next period -- so for you you'd ovulate on day 10 of your cycle (day 1 being the first day of your period). July 5th is a bit too early to be in your fertile window, but i wouldn't rule it out. If you're trying to conceive, between now and July 12th would be an ideal time to try. If you're not, then it would be best to figure out which method of birth control you want to be using regularly. Good luck with getting the outcome you want. ↑
