I have been bothered by smoking from neighbours at my own home!
Ever since we moved into this apartment, once or twice or more a week, there are some smoke smell come from the ventilation of the bathroom, and migrates to the shower room, wak-in closet, and even my bedroom occasionally, where my hasband and I, and my baby sleeps. I am going to have another baby now, and really really worried about the second-hand smoke and the health of my babies. I have talked to the manager and he said it most likely come from the neighbour above me. He said he was going to talk to them, but it has not getting any better after a year. What can I do, is there any air purified I can buy? They are not cheap, can I persuade the lanlard to pay for it? I think it is very unlike that they will agree... What should I do to preteft the health of my unborn child and the baby. ↓

I think you need to just keep complaining to the landlord. Smokers can be jerks about being told their smoking is bothering anyone. What some of them just don't get is that it doesn't only affect them, but others around them. I guess they consider it their "right" to make others sick against their will. Is it possible that you and your family could move to get away form the problem? What do you think would happen if you told the landlord that it was such a problem that you are considering moving if nothing changes? It sucks that you are having to deal with this. I can't stand cigarette smoke. Good luck! ↑

Do you just have air vents (those rectangular things?). You can pull those up or unscrew them and block them with plastic bags. I do this to keep the air conditioning out of my sons' rooms. You[ll still get circulation from over vents. I can sympathize with you. I hate the smell of smoke and I used to smoke myself a long long time ago! ↑
