usually 10 weeks at the earliest considering the baby isn't big enough to bump into anything yet. is this your first child? i'm going to blame gas, but i won't say it isn't the baby because you just never know. ↑

18 to 22 weeks is the standard. A few flutters here and there at 14 to 16 weeks is normal too, but at this point your baby is the size of a grape or so and can't move voluntarily. I'm not even sure it has developed arms or legs yet. Look at a pregnancy book that has pics and scale of a fetus at 6 weeks. it's gas honey. ↑
