I've had brown spotting for 5 days now, is implantation bleeding supposed to last that long?, implantantion bleeding lasts longer if it's more than 1 baby? ↑
I am abit worried. Had pinkish, redish discharge last week and then it stopped. Thought it was implantation bleeding but have started the same thing again a week later! Is this normal? My last pregnancy was ectopic so I am rather paranoid. i have no cramping or heavy bleeding. Any suggestions??? ↑
It happened to me around the time I was suppose to get AF and got the 2 confused at the time. Had cramps & spotting for 2 days & then went away. A week later I tested positive! I wasn't temping but I was using the clear blue ovulation kit. Good luck! ↑
Guys, Hi. I have been ttc for 1 year. I am 30 and just did an IUI. I am on 12dpo. I saw a thin line of brown color spotting o my liner this morning. that has sent me into very high level of excitment. I want to keep it down. I have been fooled in the past. I did my IUI on Nov 24th. i have mild AF like cramping on and off and have tender breasts. When should I test ? anyone else in the same boat ? ↑
i had implantation bleeding with my first but not the second or third. all three were viable although the secind had to be ended because of a fatal fetal condition. it was the time of my period it came and lasted about four days the length of my period. i used tampons as i didn't expect to be pregnant i was on the pill. i didn't realize until two weeks after i missed my next period and started to feel sick. hope this helps you. if you are trying i would test anyway even if you bleed a little you never know. ↑
I had implantation bleeding. It was so light that you could hardly see it. I could only see it when i wiped. It happened about 3 days before my period was about to start, Also had cramping so I thought my period was going to come. ↑
I had what I assume was implantation bleeding. It was right around the time af was due, and when I noticed it, I just assumed it was starting since I had no idea I was pregnant yet. I noticed it when bf and I were making love (sorry if TMI). Afterwards, I put on a pad but didn't have any other bleeding. About a week (or maybe a little more later) I tested and found out I was pregnant. It was the normal blood red color. ↑
hi i know this tread is really old but i think i have implantation bleeding, im on cd20 and 6dpo and have had brown discharge to pink watery mucus does this sound like implantation i have regular cycles and have never had this before i,ve ben ttc for 9months so im hoping this is it, im also reallly bloated and have sore boobs im not due af for another 8days! is there anything else it could be? ↑
Hello, I know this is old, but saw another recent question under this topic...I am a bit nervous because I used a tampon today while swimming because I have been having brown discharge. I am wondering now if it is implantaion bleeding because I have all the signs of early pregnancy and have 3 other children...one little twist in the story though....I had my tubes tied 10 months ago with my last daughter via c-section. I am nervous that if I am amazingly pregnant, that could have introduced an infection from the tampon...please help! I feel crazy! ↑
hi, i know this is an old thread . im ttc and my periods are alwaysregular but this month im having a slight spotting/bleeding and cramping on and off for 3 days now with bright red blood, brown blood and pink with mucus and my period isnt due for another 6 days, could this be implantation bleeding or just an early messed up light period.? im currently 8do and have slighty sore boobs and lightheadedness. took a htp but was bfn, the blood is there when i wipe but hardly enough to need a pad. m confused! ↑
My last period was on 5-14-08. I periods don't always come on time. About a week ago I started having some clear discharge with a little blood in it. Then it was brown discharge. Now it is bright red but very little. Just when I wipe myself, I only get a spot like the size of a quarter on my pantyliner. I have never had this before. Should I consider this my period? I've been having unprotected sex with my husband for about a year now and still no pregnancy. I want to add that I took a pregnancy test The beginning of June. ↑
Hi i dnt really hav an answer bt wntd to jump in on ths one!my period was due last wk bt its always really irreg anyways i thought it was here wen i noticed a light pink discharge hardly any so i usd a tampon before it got worse. When i went to change it no more had appeared. The exact same thing happened the next day and today i think theres some again bt its very little, hardly any to notice. I had no idea I was pregnant,we werent trying at all,so 2 days before I expected my period,I wiped and there was this little spot of red blood it was maybe 1/16 by 1/16 of an inch,and it wasn't streaky at all.Of course I thought I was starting my period early.That was it though,no more bleeding at all.I am now 5 wks and 4 days pregnant ↑
i had bleeding like a light period right around the same time my period would have started but never enough to use a tampon or pad, just panty liners, and it wasn't bright red like usually, kind of brownish...it lasted about a week, i was starting to have signs of pregnancy and was in disbelief to see a positive test! ↑
my spotting carried on for 7 days and on the day my period was meant to come i took a test and it was negative, it must of been a messed up light period after all. oh well maybe next month. ↑
jennie1983...oh i just remembered that my spotting had actually started a week or so BEFORE my period was supposed to start, im sorry i had forgotten that...and i also took a pregnancy test when my period was supposed to come and it came out negative and i was all upset.....then a week later i took another pregnancy test because my symptoms of pregnancy were there and then it was positive! take another test in a week...you might still be pregnant! :-) ↑
I have pretty much given up on thinking i might be pregnant this month , but i suppose i still could be, however i dont feel pregnant , just having unexplained spotting that is still going on, its been 8 days now . i thought that if i was pregnant then my hcg levels would be high enough to show up on a hpt, but if it happend to you margie then i guess theres still a chance, ill keep u posted. thanks. ↑
ya, mine lasted a lot longer than my usual periods but never enough to use tampon or pad...it could be a messed up period, but it just sounds awfully familiar. ive never gotten a positive pregnancy test until about a week after my period was supposed to start. good luck and baby dust! ↑
jennie and margie: i am having the weird spotting too, occuring on the day af was supposed to start, july 15th, until now! it has been 8 days and it is most def not like af would be...af only lasts 4 days and is heavier...... this is just like clumping and spotting... but never gets on my panties......... keep me posted jennie on what happens with you, because i am for sure in the same boat! ↑

Hi. I keep reading that implantation occurs before your period or during the time of your expected period but can it occur a week after it was due? I have regular periods, I have never ever been late on my period especially not a week late. I was suppose to start my period on July 15 and did not. It is 8 days later and i have started to spot. It is very light and watery. The color is red, dark red to brown. It is very light that i think it stops.My breasts have been very sore all throughout the week of my expected period and now which is weird because the soreness always lessens or goes away once i start my period but instead they have been extremely sore that i cant even sleep on my tummy and they hurt when i change bra. My boyfriend and I just started to have unprotected sex last month. I tested when i missed my period but it was negative. I just barely bled this morning. I dont know it it is implantation bleeding. ↑
Ok, I am about 13 or 14 DPO and my period should have started yesterday. I have been spotting since the day before and it is a really dark brown with sometimes a pink color only when I wipe and not enough to even have to wear a liner. My periods are usually pretty regular, and start off slow the first day but then get heavy the next 4-5 days. I have been spotting like this for 3 days now. My breasts have been tender the last couple weeks but aren't anymore. My husband and I have been ttc for only one month... What do you girls think? OH, I have taken 2 tests, one a week ago and one yesterday, both negative.
Someone on here mentioned how the hcg wasn't released until implation had finished, so if I am still spotting then maybe that would explain the neg result??? I am so nervous and am really wanting another opinion on this! Please help! ↑
TO JENNIE: I had 8 days of spotting too. I am was thinking I was crazy. I am waiting to see if I miss me next "period" tomorrow. Anything new with you? ↑
well, i havnt posted for a while because the light bleeding i had for 8 days must of been a light period that came a week earlier than usual, i took a test the week after my original normal period would of come just to rule out pregnancy and it was bfn so me and partner just carried on trying , however its been 5 and half week since the beginning of the early light bleeding i had and no sign of any period yet! im confused because all tests say bfn. i dont get it! any one else been pregnant but not had postive test. i also had a speck of blood 2 weeks after the last bleed. dont realy know whats going on! ↑
