is it common to bleed so much from misoprostol and still have retained tissue after 3 weeks from taking misoprostol vaginally? i have to take it again tomorrow because the vaginal ultrasound showed more tissue and the preg test showed positive immediately. ↓

Hi. I actually took it for my first m/c (i have had 2), and I too kept bleeding, i went back 3 weeks later b.c i was still bleeding, The u/s showed retained tissue, so they gave me mistoprostal again, and it didnt do anything so 4 weeks post m/c i had to have the dnc that i was trying to avoid. With my second one i just had the dnc right away that time i only bled for 2 days... i wouldn't take it again because it dragged the first m/c out for over a month..... just my opinion. good luck to you! ↑
