Well, I believe it does work, as long as your near your due date! I used this method along with others and I think the combo really helped move things along!!!!! Definately worth the try as long as your pregnancy is progressing without complications and your within a week of your due date---don't want babe coming too early now!!! ↑

You say it did work for you, but how long did it take? Was it the first time you tried it, or was it over a matter of days? Also, did you use your breast pump, or your hubby? I will be 37 weeks on thursday and was thinking of trying this at 39. ↑

I watched one of those delivery programs on the learning channel and I do recall one of the midwives mentioning that nipple stimulation helps bring on labor. She had one of her patients practicing this (with the patient's husband's help) So yes, I guess it can work =) ↑

I did it in the shower at about 37 weeks. They say to only do it for 3 hours a day on and off for 15 mins and not to do it when your having a contraction. I swear it worked for me!! at my 38 week check up I was 3 cm 50% effaced. Also I did the sex thing and orgasm with walking. All those wives tales....I swear it was the membranes being stripped that put me over the edge into active labor but I think all those things helped in the long run ↑
