Rmora, start out on 50mgs. A higher dosage is not going to make you ovulate more. Its may only hyperstimulate your ovaries , maybe cause cysts, and possibly give you more infertility problems. If your being monitored by a doctor , they will know whether or not you ovulated on your first dosage. If you didn't , then they might up your dosage on the second month. But if you do ovulate and you don't get a BFP (there's only a 25% chance of conception between normal fertile couples on any give month) then you'll just start the second month on the same dosage (50mgs). Your dosage has nothing to do with whether or not you have multiples. ↑

Rmora - I have heard that some ladies take it cd 1-5 and 2-6 it is suppose to cause more follicles but they are inmature and I think if you ovulated on your own the clomid will increase you have twins I think around 10% to 20%. I also hear that age and weight and height also can play a part.
two_little_ladies - I'm glad I make u laugh I guess I am just in a pissed off mood but I really don't know why oh yes I do it is the clomid well I did use my opk test strip on cd 7 and yes I know way too early but I just wanted to and it was Neg. I still plan to bd anyway I might have to take u up on the Marvin Gaye I really like his music.

Hi Two-Little_ladies...Don't worry about it. I wasn't mad at you. I really appreciate everybody's opinions. I was just trying to make some conversation about what I have heard. Not necessarily saying that I agree.. Anyway..I had a busy weekend and have been so busy at work I haven't had time to catch up with everybody. I am kind of worried. I quit my birth control and this is my first Cycle without being on it. Currently I am on CD 21. Tomorrow I should have Ovulated. However, I have been testing My LH surge. And it has come up neg every time. Mine is the one that you have to dip in the Urine. And then wait for the lines to show up. I do get two lines..But Apparently it is still Neg because the T line is lighter than the C line. So...My questions are..is it possible not to ovulate after BC? Or could it be that since it it my first cycle off of BC it is just wacky? I don't know but I was assuming that the first month would be normal and then the second and maybe third would be wacky and then back to normal the 4th again. Anyway...any thoughts or suggestions about my cycle or even about my OPK would be so helpful. ↑
Hey Krissy, hi all, well krissy here we go again, sorry i havent been on for a while but was trying to take my mind of the fact i had a BFN, as its was my birthday yesterday and that was the one present i desperately wanted. but hey ready for another go, dont know why i was so sure i was going to fall in the first month using clomid.
well on cd4 now so only a few days behind you as just started taking clomid on days 3-7 again, was going to up the dose but i did ovulate last month, so didnt want to chance anything. I was exactly the same last month as soon as i finished my clomid i was testing for ovulation every day, so ive had to buy loads more ovulation sticks and pregnancy sticks lol.

hey krissy just realised you actually posted on 11th july that you were cd7 so you must be cd13 now, im a donut, so im more then a few days behind you lol.

You are right I am on cd 13 and I started using my internet opk test strip on cd 7 the last day of me taking my clomid and of course it was negative but on cd 8 & 9 I got a faint test line I know it was negative and it has been negative until today cd 13 when I tested in the morning I was starting to see a faint test line so I am figuring I will be ovulated in the next few days well I hope so anyway I will keep you posted I have bd so far on cd 6, 9-12, but my temps are staying 97.6 it haven't hit the 98 mark yet and that is weird to me oh well. I took clomid on cd 3-7 and the estrodoil cd 8-12 and I don't have to start the progesterone gel until cd 17. I am starting to have some pain off and on in my right ovarie. hi krissy, iv never really posted on he forim but i am on it everyday reading all the stories. i have taken u/p clomid in the hope that i concieve twins, i have a regular 28 day cycle, i was on the mini pill for 9 months and did not have an af, i came of the pill in may, had a period after 3 weeks, i then wanted to have another period so i had one in june 6th and had another period on july 6th, after doing alot of research i decided to take clomid on days 3-7, i took it at night becoz of migraine headaches but thank god i didnt have any side effects at all. I have been doing OPK tests. I am CD 15 and thank god got a positive OPK, i bd last night and this morning, and have been bedding since CD 7, my AF does not last very long, it lasts only 3-4 days, so have been BD every other day. i think i am 1 day behind you krissy, so its mice to have a cycle buddy. i really want twins and i know the chances are only 10%. my husband is a fraternal twin and i have a 4 year old son. i am also taking 800mc of folic aci. i am not taking all the preseed or mucinex or the robitsun stuff etc. plz feel free to talk about n e thin, no ear bashing ↑

For the ladies who do take the musinex and Baby asprin...Do you take this the same time that you take you clomid or do you take it at other times of day. I recieved my clomid in the mail over the weekend! I am so exited. AF should arrive in about a week and then I will start my first adventure on clomid! ↑
Rmora, you start taking it about 8/9th day of your cycle along with 1 baby aspirin daily. Once your sure you've o'ed you stop taking the mucinex but just keep taking the baby aspirin until you get bfp. I'm 11 dpo today. I'm starting to get that feeling,like it didn't work this month . But I just its not over til AF shows. AF is due Thursday or Friday this week. So If AF comes along I'll be just a few days ahead of you :). I did feel tired and other symptoms but I don't anymore:(, I actually feel good, no cramping or anything. I guess we'll see.... ↑
Two_little_ladies..Thanks so much for your advice. I will do that on those CD. I hope AF doesn't come for you...I completely messed up on my OPK pack. So, I'm not sure if I even ovulated this month or not. I thought the test was ready to be read immediately. So i thought I was neg the whole time. I finally re-read the directions after my LH surge should have happened. And the instructions said to wait for 5 min before reading the results. So..I did that the next day and sure enough I had two lines but the Test line was lighter than the control line. I think if I would have done it right a couple of days before I would have seen my surge. Any way. I am going to start tracking my Basal Temp to see when I O also along with the OPK pack. So that I can increase the chances of a BFP earlier than later when trying. Are you taking the 50 mg of clomid? ↑
Yes. I took it 3-7. I had side effects with it. I certainly hope you don't. Its been a long month,lol. Nausea, hotflashes, tired, hungry, bloating, and moody right after o'ing. I had bad o pains for about a week right before o'ing and right after. I had ovulation spotting but it was only a pin drop and I only seen it because I was getting ready to use my pre-seed and it was in the bottle after I inserted it (sorry gross I know) . I o'ed on cd 21 but I know its different for everyone. Your supposed to start using opk's 3 days after you last pill. I used all my opks and then just starting b'ding everyday :p. I just check my cm and cervix position. Maybe I'll start bbt charting with you if AF shows. I know your pumped... I was really excited and nervous when mine came in the mail too!! ↑
want twins - We are a day apart I am on cd 17 today. I got my bpf on my opk test on cd 14-16 and today cd 17 it was Neg so I am done testing. I have been bding cd 6, 9-13 and 16. I hope I didn't miss my chance cause I didn't bd on cd14-15. Good Luck to you and keep me posted.

Do the side effects happen all Cycle long or are they just while you are taking the meds? And don't worry lol I don't think your story was gross! It's good to be able to laugh about some of the stuff. Wow CD 21 is the day that you o'ed on? How long are your CD normally. I guess I should have continued to test for my O. I quit testing once I thought that my CM didn't look fertile. ( I think I mentioned that I missed my surge because I didn't read the OPK directions very good.) I need help...Today is cd 21. My monitor didn't detect no O. I did get heavy cramp. Last time I went to the dr she said I developed one mature folicle and many other smaller ones. I didn't ovulate, has this happen to anyone else? This is my first cycle of clomid. Is it too late to ovulate or it just didn't happen? I'm so confused.... ↑
