Salma Hayek Gives Birth
After months of watching Salma Hayek's bursting baby bump, she finally gave birth early Friday morning. She named the baby girl Valentina Paloma Pinault after having the name Valentina picked out six months ago, believing it to be strong and romantic. Salma's mother and brother were there for the delivery and her mother will be staying with her for the next month or so to help out with baby care. After the birth, Salma texted friends and family the good news, and she has loads of support. Ex boyfriend Josh Lucas, for one, believes that Salma will be a doting and loving mother, if the way she cares for her dogs is any indication of her maternal ability. This is the first child for the actress and producer, and the third child for her fiancée Francois-Henry Pinault. Valentina is the new half-sister of Francois (9) and Mathilde (5).

Noel Gallagher Finds Oasis in His Son
Noel Gallagher, the cofounder of British rock group Oasis, is the proud father of a son. The baby's mom, Sara MacDonald, gave birth to baby Donovan Rory MacDonald Gallagher Saturday morning in London. Little Donovan weighed 7lb, 5oz and Noel couldn't be happier. He reportedly proclaimed the birth of his son to friends and family by texting them this message: "He shall go by the name of Donovan Rory MacDonald Gallagher and he shall be a legend. Give thanks and praise." Noel had joked to friends and family that he was planning on naming the baby Sven after the manager of his favorite football team, Manchester City. Sara apparently didn't like the name. Noel is already father to 7-year-old Anais from his previous marriage to Meg Matthews.

Charlotte Church Now a Mom, and Mum on Baby's Name
Charlotte Church, Welsh singer and TV presenter, gave birth to a baby girl at home on Thursday night. It was a water birth with her boyfriend Gavin Henson, her mother, and two midwives present. They waited for the sex to be a surprise, so the baby's name was officially chosen after the birth. Rumor had it the name was being kept secret over the weekend so it could be officially announced in a lucrative ₤100,000-₤250,000 magazine deal featuring the first pictures of the new baby. However, the name has finally been released on the official Charlotte Church website, and the baby is named Ruby Megan Henson.

Nicole Richie Terrified to Become Mother
Socialite and reality TV star Nicole Richie is reportedly terrified that she won't be able to cope with the world of motherhood. She is concerned that her pampered Hollywood upbringing and wild youth haven't prepared her for the demands of being a mom. Meanwhile, Nicole and her boyfriend Joel Madden of Good Charlotte are waiting to find out the sex of the baby until birth. Joel admitted that this can be confusing at times, "We are waiting to find out if it is a boy or a girl. We don't even know. So right now it's an 'it', which sounds wrong. We call it 'the baby'. When we talk to it, it's 'you'." Despite fears about parenthood, the couple is excited about the upcoming birth and they have already bought a stroller and playpen. They are engaged but waiting until after the baby is born to get married.
