Just wondering if anyone out there has the same problem. I just started my own business in September (Montessori School). I am just worried of how I am going to cope.

i do in Home childcare as well.. and just found out we are expecting... Not sure if I'll be able to work later on in the pregnancy or not.. and not sure I want to work after baby has arrived.. I have been a babysitter for most of my life...its time to trade in the shoes to just be a a mommy i think... I am blessing to have a husband who has a good enough paying job with more potential so this option is open... will just have to see about when I get bigger... I don't I'll want to work in the 7 th month or so but will wait to see how I am feeling and coping at that stage

I did daycare in my home through my 2nd pregnancy. I found I needed to pace myself better, and plan activities that didn't require too much energy. Talk to the parents in your school. They will be understanding and supportive. That is the kind of parent that chooses Montessori. Listen to your body and don't over do it and you will be fine.

Yes, I am self-employed. I've had my business for about 5 years now. I am very worried about coping with a little one and keeping my shop open. Being self-employed we kinda get the shaft cuz there's no paid maternity leave for us. e mail me care_bear1108@yahoo.ca
