I was wondering whether anyone had info on br___tfeeding or br___tpumping at work? Do mothers have any rights about either taking children to work or taking time off work to pump br___t milk?

Hi Mary, I don't know if new moms really have any "rights" when it comes to bringing kids to work. That's why most companies offer maternaty leaves. I'm sure that if you work for a small company they wouldn't mind you bringing your baby in a few days, but I think you are best off just staying home while you are still b___stfeeding. It can be really difficult to take care of a new baby and concentrate on your work at the same time.

Mothers do not have the 'right' to bring thier children to work or take time off to pump. If you are planning on b___st feeding I would recomend talking to your boss about breaking up your lunch hour into a couple segments that would allow you to pump and store your milk to be used the next day while you are at work (providing your work place has a fridge that would allow you to keep the pumped milk from spoiling). If you choose child care that is close to your work you may also be able to go to the child for the feedings if your company would allow this.. It just depends on the environment you work in...

I attended a b___st feeding cla__s and the lactation consultant mentioned something to do with it is a Human Right to b___st feed and something about there is a law somewhere pertaining to the right to do so and having the right to do this at work. I should of found out more info on it. I guess maybe it appeared as such a surprise to me I was caught off guard.
