I don't think it's something that you can ever be ready for so go for it. You get finacially ok and you think emotionally buy NOTHING can prepare you for raising a child. I don't care how many books you read or how much you babysat, you will never believe the journey you will experience. It's really fun, frustrating, different, demanding and worth it. Good Luck.

Go for it. I wish I had not waited. I thought I only wanted one and had my first at 37 then realized I wanted another and had my 2nd at 38 due to all the fertility warnings for women over 35. My fertility held out thank God--so for fertility's sake go for it--also for energy's sake go for it. Best of luck.

just think about it this way...do you want to see your grandkids, and be able to hold them and keep them? or will you be to fragile to bend over to pick them up in fear of breaking a hip...if you are ready to have a baby do it. it is such a joy to hear the first heart beat, to feel it move inside you, and to hold in your arms.

Whenever is ok as long is you don't wait until you go past menopause. I would say past menoupause is a bad time to try.

My wife was 36 and I was 39 with our first and we now have two children WHAT A BLAST !!! they are the coolest superheros WE LOVE THEM !!! We spoil them and they have so many toys , the toys are leaking out of the seams of the house . Although I really wish I would have done it all earlier in life because I can't play ball with them as well as I could have when I was younger and they never got to meet any grandparents except for one stepmother on my side of the family and that was only breifly . I wonder how God convinced Abraham to have a child at age 99 . No wonder he thought he was kidding around . GO FOR IT < IT'S A BLAST ... may I suggest swinging from the chandelier or doing it in the highest tree in the back yard LOL just don't wait till you're 99.
