Can a baby be allergic to his mother's milk?

No, but your baby can be allergic to something that you are eating. What allergies run in the family on both sides? Stay away from these things first, and see what happens. If there are no known allergies, ask people if they had ear infections when they were young. Ear infections are a sign of dairy allergy. Dairy, wheat, nuts and eggs are the most common allergies. You can do a rotation diet to see what foods are giving your baby a problem. You have to stay off each food for at least 2 weeks for them to be totally out of your body. Good luck, allergies can be difficult to find.

Val, the allergy comes from what you eat, not what your body makes. Its just like adding something you are allergic to, to a recipe that you are not allergic to. The one ingredient will make you have an allergic reaction. Hope this clears things up.
