I'm about 5/6 weeks pregnant and have been ridiculously sick for the past two weeks. I could hang if it was just the morning as you would assume from the term "morning sickness"...But the nausea is all day long with no relief....sometimes it gets worse at night or first thing in the morning....I have a doct appt next Thursday, March 1st and I definately going to be asking for some meds.....I dont leave my house on the weekends....I cant even get out of bed except to go to work...this is really impacting my life

Also want to add that I have to use the bathroon constantly and am all night peeing....I also dont want my fiance to touch me at all....

So over the weekend, I went to urgent care because I couldnt take the nausea anymore. They gave me a prescription for Zofran..this is a pill commonly given to chemo patients to prevent nausea and vomiting. I've been taking it and it takes the edge off but I can still feel a heaviness in my stomach.....oh well, just grateful for anything at this point.

Hi beautifulpackage! I am going through the same thing. I always though that pregnancy would be fun and exciting but it seems that so far I've been..well...miserable. I am excited about my baby but the side effects are for the birds. Acne (my face looks horrible), cramps (like AF), and morning sickness ALL DAY! Mom never told me about this! I hope it doesn't last long! The only thing that keeps me going is that it seems that these symptoms, especially the nausea, is proof that baby is progressing and doing well.

hahaha lol Hi, squawprincess, since I've been using Zofran, I've been feeling alot better these days...and I agree, I've gotten to the point where the sickness a__sures me the baby is doing well. I'm about 12 weeks now...how far along are you?? OMG, yes, my face has broken out terribly and I've been dealing with constipation for the last three weeks. My b___sts are also getting more sore by the day...but I think this is because of the blood volume increase....but in the end its worth it! Just thankful to be in this position as I just suffered a misscarriage about 6 months ago.
