hi i have been off the birth control pill for about a month now, the day after i stopped the pill i started bleeding but it was very light and only lasted two days but now my period is due and i am 3 days late, ive had sore nipples, cramping, headaches and more tired than normal but ive taken three HPT and they all have been negative what could be wrong?

It takes a while for your body to adjust to not having birth control to regulate the periods. You may just be experiencing a missed or late period. But sore nipples and tender breasts are a symptom of being pregnant, however also very common before the cycle hits.
When I went off my birth control i never had regular periods, sometimes I would even get it two or three times in one month and skip another! Thank goodness after my first son my period finally naturally regulated itself.
Birth control can really mess with some women's hormones, like it did mine.... I'm assuming by now though you know If your pregnant or not...
