I know this thread is a year old but I wanted to share my experience- i had never heard of vulva veins before i got one late into my seventh pregnancy. I think standing has a lot to do with it because I was a teacher too and as you know sitting is not an option with first graders. I have read quite a few of these posts and see a lot of the ladies are teachers. anyway- because it was my seventh baby the doc felt it was pretty safe to have a natural birth becasue obviously the birth ca___l is that much wider than a first or second time mothers. However, after baby was delivered the veins burst and I started losing a lot of blood. The doc thought she had done the job and I was taken into recovery and saw baby a couple of hours later, Unfortunately I was still bleeding and had to be put to sleep and st_tched again in the ER room this time. The came the blood transfusion. I dread to think what could have happened if I hadn't alerted the nurse and doc to fact my whole bed was soaked through. with blood. Dont take this lightly ladies- be aware of the risks. My doc says that I might have to have a c section next time. I am pregnant again and this time my vein has reappeared in my third month! I pray I can still have a natural birth- the thought of a c section scares me. My dh is more disposed to have elective c section. It was probably pretty traumatic for him to see me being taken to surgery the second time.

Hi, Vaginal selling is a common problem seen on women during pregnancy. I had the same on my 2nd and 3rd pregnancy. There is no need to worry about this. However sometimes this becomes worse and can cause heavy pain. I had used natural oils and they worked fine. You can also find out such remedies online. Otherwise consult a varicose vein specialist such as vaughanveinclinic.com

Pregnancy is the awesome stage of life for every women but complication that comes along with this is countless. Reading this one very common issue of varicose vein occurs during this. During pregnancy blood volume increases while the rate of blood flow to your legs and pelvis decreases. This puts pressure on the veins which causes varicose veins. But don’t worry now you can overcome this problem easily with effective natural remedies.
