5wks & 5days Pregnant (NO YOLK SAC)

Is it normal not to see at yolk sac at 5 weeks and 5 days... My Hcg levels were 8,000 at 5 weeks and 3 days... then doubled 2 days later to a little over 13,000... but still just an empty gestational sac... I have worried myself sick... someone else experience something similar?

If the doctor did not give bad news, there must still be some cause for hope. Research blighted ovum for more. When is your next appointment? The hCG numbers are encouraging.
