i'm told the same kind of things ALL THE TIME. Times have really changed, things to do with babies always change but older generations seem to think they know whats best for my baby to, i just ignore it and find out the actual facts on the latest news. They have done a lot more studies since then and everything advances.

Ech that's insanity! Thankfully it won't harm your daughter, I hope you've had sufficient time to cool off, I am so sorry your 'mil' was acting that way! You poor dear, the things our babies can handle though. Hope you're well. btw, I might be pg again, definitely not a planned thing under the circ_mstances, but we're eagerly await my next period.

Even worse than a MIL who's wrong all the time is one who's partially right some of the times, don't you think? We recently had the stomach flu and after talking to two nurses and the pharmacist, you should skip formula/b___st milk completely if they can't keep any of it down and give only pedialyte. But that *only* applies if they can't keep anything down (as our dd couldn't) because they can get dehydrated very quickly but can go a lot longer without food. Not trying to side with your MIL in the least, but I thought you should know in case you do end up with the stomach flu. (Thankfully the worst past very quickly and she was back on formula by the next morning)

My mom gave us jello water it's actually good for a baby it's like pedialyte. Most people are so inexperienced today when it comes to kids they think what their mom used won't work today. Babies haven't changed medicine has
