Bleeding In Early Pregnancy

I am five weeks into amy pregnancy, it is my fourth and it has only been 16 weeks since the birth of my previous baby, all of my pregnancies have been full term and uneventful, however I have been what I assume to be spotting for about a week now, I would say never more than about a quarter of a teaspoon of dark red/brown matter with brown flakes resembling dried blood is this a cause for concern or simply a reaction of back to back pregnancies?
