Is Sitting In A Spa Or In A Sauna Room Okay For The Baby

By the way all this a__sumes you and your fetus (soon to be cute baby) are healthy physically and you are emotionally healthy. I stayed out the sauna until after my 12 week ultrasound when I got the confirmation that all looked normal. I wish you well and don't let anyone scare you with over simplified jargon.

I use the steam room at home when I know I am either starting to get sick or I am sick. I asked my doctor about it and she says it's fine as long as I don't go in for too long. I sit in there for about 10-15 minutes or if I know I'm starting to feel uncomfortable I get out and cool down with a cooler shower. The steam room also helps me relax if I feel I'm starting to stress out. Just like "jinjin" said, it IS very important for you to be relaxed during your pregnancy.
