Hi Kerry! So good to hear a success story!! I was also told to wait for 3 cycles after my 2nd m/c. I was sooo scared I wouldn't dare to try straight away. Although we started trying after my 2nd cycle. No happy news yet, but your story put a great big smile on my face today. Thanks

I had a natural m/c on 5/31, bled for about 5 days, stopped for about another 6, then spotted/bled a little off and on for another 5 days, then I noticed my fertile CM the first day bleeding stopped. Wasn't going to try straight after m/c b/c I was scared, but I hate condoms so we weren't careful that week! We had s_x on Mon and Wed and I think I ovulated on Friday (felt the usual ovulation cramp), then we had s_x the two days after. Not ttc, those are just the days we did, I finally felt better after m/c.......anyway, since this Friday, I've been feeling weird, nauseous and BAD gas. But I don't feel like it's the flu, I NEVER get the flu. It's weird, but I don't think I could be pregnant so soon after m/c and I didn't think you would have symptoms so soon. I thougth they didn't start till at least 2 weeks after ovulation. I'm wondering if my body could be playing tricks on me after the m/c. Although since my hcg went down to 40 (which was over 2 weeks ago) I've felt completely like myself, not emtional or anything. Today I feel like I could cry at the drop of a hat, but sometimes I get like that the week before AF. I don't even really know when AF will come after the m/c. Just needed to vent, I know no one can really have any answer as to what is going on here!!!!

b___terfly, i am in the same situation as you. my m/c began on 5/28.. i bled for like 6 days , waited a week before any s_x and am now waiting for my first period. according to my calendar, today i am on cycle day 35. i usually have a29/30 day cycle but i am sure the m/c is bumping me around a bit. my HCG were slow to decrease. the last reading i got was 44 and that was 2 weeks ago. i am supposed to go tomorrow to have one final draw done. i am pretty sure my period is right around the corner.......but like you it seems like sometimes my body tricks itself...like sending my to the bathroom in the middle of the night for the last 2 weeks.....

Hey zengirl I remember you from another thread. I think my period should come around 7/6 b/c I am positive that I ovulated on 6/22 and I believe AF comes 14 days after ovulation. Or later...... Keep me updated as to when yours makes its appearance!!! Maybe that will give me some insight!

Question - July 1

Hi Zengirl and B___terfly! I remember you from a previous post. So good to see that we are still hanging here. Sound like some what if's! Well i had a m/c 5 weeks ago. And yes we were ttc straight after the m/c. And now BFP again! Tested a week and half ago and was negative. Have tested 4 times lately and are all fast postives. I'm feeling more sick then before and very tired.I hade a postive opt on 16cd and 17. My appointment isn't til 25th and from calculating the strart of m/c I should be due in March 4 2008. So til then I am very scared and so happy that a miracle happen here. Fingers crossed. Erica

Question - awesome! Congrats! When did you get your BFP? Please keep us updated! I had heard from a few people that you are supposed to be very fertile after a m/c. I have no idea why though? Anyway good luck, maybe we'll all be over at the first trimester board together sometime soon :)

To maybebaby2007, My aim was to give a little bit of hope to someone like yourself, Dont forget, I know how you are feeling, I was very scared when I found out I was pregnant again so soon, as was my husband, but if the situation ever arises again, I will do exactly the same thing knowing the outcome I had, I will be less afraid.. Good luck to you and your partner, it will happen for you, and when you do get your little bundle of fun you'll forget about all of this, and you will think that if it hadnt of happened you wouldnt have had this little one. What is meant to be is meant to be. Good luck. xxx

to: Kerry - Unfortunately it happened to us twice in a row. When I got pregnant again, I was so happy. We really thought it was just a bad luck the first time. But the bad luck came again. I got pregnant on a first go both times and now, it's been 3 months and nothing.. :o( You read so many stories like mine here, but to hear that after all that it actually worked, that is a sort of a thing I am looking for. :o) Because we all need as much hope as possible. It is really great to have girls like you coming back to the forum telling us of a happy endings! to: Question - Congratulations!! Be positive and enjoy every moment of it. Good luck ttc to everyone!!

Maybebaby2007, Keep smiling honey and stay positive, your day will come. xxx It wasnt my first miscarraige either.x Let me know how you get on.

maybebaby2007 - July 2

Kerry, do you mind? I would love to hear your full story. How far along you were each time and how long it took ttc. How did you cope with your fear during your successful pregnancy? With my 2nd I remember thinking: If I get through that day when it stopped the last time, I'll be fine. Of course, it happened even few days earlier...

Kerry Pledger - July 2

Maybebaby2007... I actually had my first miscarraige couple of years ago, I was about 10 weeks pregnant when I discovered some strange discharge, no blood, I just knew, so I went to the hospital where they did some tests and told me I was still pregnant, a couple of hours later, the blood came and the rest you know, I was so upset. I then started to have some strange smear tests which said things werent quite right, I wont go into detail, then to add insult to injury my husband was found to have a prostate problem which he may have for the rest of his life, I honestly felt then that everything was against me and i was never going to have children. It took us a year to get pregnant after all this, and we were over joyed, what a feeling. Then again at about 8 weeks I discovered another discharge andd in my heart I think I knew what the outcome might be. Then one night about another week later I awoke to the feeling that can only be discribed as a gush, I thought I had wet myself, I was very confused, went to the bathroom to see the most blood I have ever seeen, we went to hospital to get checked out and I was told that my womb was still firmly closed and was still pregnant and a scan confirmed that when we saw the little heart beating, but right next to the sac the baby was in was a big blood clot and some internal bruising which cant be explained, I was told to try and carry on as normal as there was no amount of bed rest that cut prevent the blood getting in the sack, we just had to hope I would pa__s it. A week later it all happened, the pain was so immense (actully worse than giving birth), I was drugged up on morphine but it didnt really work, they had to remove the baby as I hadnt yet pa__sed it but was trying to. I was disstraught and was told not to try for 3 months. We just carried on as normal after that because to be honest I really didnt think I would ever get pregnant again that easy. Well a few more weeks pa__sed when I realised I hadnt had a period at all, I tested to find i WAS pregnant, I was so scared as was my husband, the feeling was nothing of excitment which is all i wanted. The first 3 months went be so slowly, but once they pa__sed i started to relax. I continued with the wonderful pregnancy of feeling every movement, I loved it, to give birth to my amazing daugter was the most amazing thing to ever happen to me. We are actually now trying again for another baby, 3 months have pa__sed and nothing yet, I know I may have another miscarraige but Im not as scared this time, because I know that my baby will come when he or she is ready. If you would like to keep in touch with me, you can find me on face book under this name and we can keep each other updated with our progress. I hope i havent bored you.

Question - July 2

B___terfly- So weird that you mentioned the sickness a week after o, bcause the same symptoms happened to me, then a 5 days of feeling normal. I thought i was pregs 1 week after o from being so sick, but a got neg bfp and 2 weeks after o i am positive. And yes, i heard the same of being very fertlie 3 months after m/c. So, try testing in another week, you never know! I found out the bfp on 6/28, a day before my husbands b-day ! Zengirl- i know that your planning the salivia opt, how's that going? thanks for that quote, it helping me think to be more positve. Erica

ZenGirl - July 2

well I am excited to say that i have officially started my first period since my m/c!! it has been 35 days since the m/c, so i guess i am not that far off track. i felt like my body had been trying to bring my period for almost the last 2 weeks. i will be trying out my saliva monitor from tomorrow morning thru the rest of this cycle. i'll let you know how "user friendly" it is :)

b__terfly021 - July 2

Erica, that's so weird. I have been feeling better yesterday and today so far. I thought maybe I had some bug or something that was going away. I haven't tested yet, I won't until probably this weekend if I don't get AF. I'll be ok with it either way. We weren't really going to start trying till July, so that's ok. On a good note, today I got a response from a job I applied for last week so maybe we can get this moving thing going SOON!

Question - July 2

Zengirl- Wow, finally a fresh start. I hope that everything is OK. The best of luck in 4 weeks!!! Hang in the Zengirl!
