Neg Blood Test; Faint Positve Home Test 2 Days Later

I was having what l thought was my period. I had a miscarriage Sept 9th 2016; then got what l think was aunt flow on the 14th but l bled on and off for about 4 days. The Dr took a blood test during the bleeding time and a week after both negative. 2 days later l took a home test and got what looks like a faint positive within the time window. we have had unprotected sex 3 times since the bleeding stopped...l have had one successful pregnancy but she died at 17 months of cancer really want one more baby any thoughts?
