Keep the area clean and dry. Wear loose fitting clothes. It sounds as if you have medication already, but diaper rash cream can be soothing in cases like this as well. Don't stop taking your medication, but do discuss with your doc that it's not helping very much. When at all possible do not wear anything below the waist and let it air--so to speak.
