My left arm seems numb; my neck and face, too, and sometimes my right arm. I feel "funny" and have some palpitations. Could this be a pinched nerve or something? I phoned the Doc who did not seem very concerned but advised me to go the ER room if condition worsened????

I have what is called Mitral Valve Prolapse which causes palpitations and sometimes numbness in my arms, as well as other things (mood swings, anxiety attacks...) Maybe you should ask your doc about that, or go see a doctor who gives your concerns the attention they deserve. Things don't happen for no reason at all.
