I am there too. I am on day 42 all negative HPT's and got fed up went to the docs office and got a blood test done, and sadly it came back negative also, but I am still holding out hope. I have symptoms, but feel I could be imagining them only becaue I dont want to get my hopes up.

Hey there everybody... I guess I'm in the same boat. I was due for my period 15 days ago, nothing. I have taken 6 hpt's and they were all negative. *Sad* I have been experiencing water retention (swelling), nauseau, dizziness, head aches, lower back pain, cramping in my abdomen, increased discharge, increased hunger, increased urination. I also have sore nipples today, and feel pregnant. It's so hard to not understand what's going on. I'd be happy to see blood or a + sign, at least then I'd feel so not-in-the-dark. I have a doc apt in the morning, but I'm worried they're going to give me a negative result, and I'll stil be in the same boat :(

Well, I had my doc apt yesterday - and just as I suspected, a negative urine test. They refused to do a blood test, and said if I still get negative HPT's, to go back in 2 weeks for a blood test. It's driving me nuts not knowing, but I definitely feel pregnant. They also told me, which I already sort of knew, that even though I was due on the 18th for my period, that I could have just gotten pregnant, and that is why the tests are showing negative...there's some hope girls!!! Maybe u got pregnant right before your period was due, and that's the reason there isn't enough hormones to show in the tests yet. Test every week, but only once to save the cost and the heart ache... and I wish everybody luck!

I don't fall in the category of perhaps getting PG when my cycle was due as I haven't had s_x in over a week or so. Oh well. I'm now on Day 6 with no sign of AF....hooray for now!

This happened to me in April. My cycle is usually 30-32 days but I was getting impatient when I hadn't started on day 40. So, I took a hpt and it was negative. I decided to wait until day 45 to test again. AF came on day 44. I think it was all due to stress. I hope you're results are different and you get that positive result soon! Maybe you just need to give it a little more time before you test again. Good luck!

Hi ladies! I’d like to join in on the conversation if that’s ok… I went off the pill at the end of August (I had been on it for 8 years). Before I started the pill my cycle was never regular but on average I got AF every 32-35 days and I averaged about 11 cycles a year. My husband and I had intended on starting to TTC in September but then I was hospitalized for 10 days with pancreat_tis so plans were put on hold. I lost a lot of weight while in hospital but nonetheless AF arrived on schedule on day 32 on September 23rd. I was advised to hold off TTC for one more cycle to fully recover from my illness. My husband and I used condoms in October but each time forgot to hold the rim down at the end each time and we didn’t use spermicide (tmi, sorry!) Anyway, I am now on day 40 and still no sign of AF. I have taken two pregnancy tests (day 33 and day 38) both of which were negative. I have been experiencing nausea off an on, abdominal cramping and slightly sore b___sts. I am not sure if these symptoms are remnants of the pancreat_tis, are signs of pms or … So now I am wondering: did AF just take a vacation for a month, so to speak, and so I am now on my next cycle (in which case my husband and I should be TTC every second night so as not to miss when I ovulate) OR am I just late and AF is still going to show (and thus I can take it easy since I am quite queasy?) OR did I ovulate much later than ‘usual’ this past month and am so early on in my pregnancy that it is too early to produce a positive test (last Saturday we didn’t even use a condom since by that point I knew I was ‘safe’ to start TTC relative to the pancreat_tis recovery.) This is so frustrating!

I'm having the same problem.. I'm on day 38, no period, I usually get my period between 30-33 days, I had unprotected sex on 14th Jan, I experienced painful cramps for less than an hour on 24th Jan, I took a first response test today  and it came back negative, it's been 20-21 days since sex, and I've been experiencing a massive break out and had cramps and been feeling blah and emotional! Can someone reply please.

Your period was expected Jan 28th and you had unprotected 14 days earlier which is ovulation time. There is a 30% chance of pregnancy right there. You have several early pregnancy signs including a missing period. I think another test a week after the last would be prudent.
