Hi ladies!! So glad I found this forum!! I am so confused as to what test are showing vs what I am feeling. I have an 11 year old and this is similar yet so different than my last pregnancy. My last period was 4/3 ending 4/8, had unprotected sex multiple times on 4/9 and was to begin ovulation a few days after. Missed my period on 5/1, no sign of AF. I had a blood test on 5/16 with a negative and several HP all negative. Had an ultrasound on 5/22 to make sure all was good and was told lining is thick as it is in early pregnancy but no sac was visible. I am due for AF on 5/29 and so far no period like cramps, have just had minor cramping/tingling feeling in uterus. Tons of back pain, down legs (inner legs down to feet), headaches, moodiness, fatigue, full breast, stuffy nose, pretty much all the signs. This waiting game is no joke!! I feel as though my body says I am but science is not fast enoug, any thoughts?

Judy, sex on cycle day 6 is not very likely to result in pregnancy. A blood test when three weeks late is almost certainly accurate. surely something else is going on - a cyst perhaps?

If I had unprotected sex the 9th and based on my tracker should have ovulated the 13-17 and sperm can survive up to 5 days it would make sense. No cyst in my ovaries or uterus found during my ultrasound only thick lining which I was told was consistent with pregnancy.

If your cycle is shorter, for example, every 21 to 24 days, this means you are ovulating earlier in the cycle. Sperm can live inside you for 2, 3 and up to 5 days. You could have sex towards the end of your bleeding and then actually conceive 4 or 5 days later with your early ovulation.Sep 2, 2016
