Stabbing Pain Upright On The Stomach When Laying Down On Your Right Side

Hi its my 36th week and last 2 months I have been feeling a pain up on the right side of my stomach as if one of my rib stabs to somewhere when I am in the lay-down position on my right side. I dont know what it is. And it really bothers me , the pain wakes me up in my sleep ,too. Anybody having this pain ever.?

The baby could be kicking or putting pressure on your rib cage. It also could be gas. I had a lot of pain around my ribs during my first pregnancy. I felt like they were bruised. My doctor told me that it was normal.
