Well, we recently lost the second baby, due to placenta problems. I pray that your baby stays healthy and strong :D We are happy to one day see the baby's in heaven, where God will have a new name for them. To all the mothers out there who has lost any children in the womb....I feel for you and am praying also!!!!

I was 6 weeks and 6 days for my first appt. I went to a doctor on a base because my husband is in the military. They were just going to make me fill out papers and then go get blood work done and that would have been it. But I thought I had a UTI so she scheduled me appt for that day. So The doctor done a pap smear then she decided to do an ultrasound not sure why but she did :]. She saw the baby and its heart beat. But there was something behind it and she though it could be a twin but she only heard one heart beat. The said it could be blood a place on the wall so haier a list of unknowns. Then told me, "Well im actually unsure of what it is so Im going to go ask the sonographer." Which who did not know either so they were going to schedule another appt for the same day to get another ultrasound by the sonographer but they had no opening so now I have to go back Monday so they can try to figure out what it is. They said they didn't think it was anything bad but they wasn't for sure. So Hopefully everything is ok and now I just got to pray and hope for the best.

Mine never made it. Sac B had completely collapsed and Sac A had grown by one week, baby by one week but still a week behind and no heartbeat anymore. I am to go for a D&C next Tuesday if I don't m/c this week.

Yes its possible. I had my first ultrasound at 4 weeks and they said there was one sac but no baby. I just went back yesterday for another one and they found 2 sacs but no babies yet. Next week I have to go back to my high risk OB/GYN to have another one and he said I should be able to see something.

This is the only place i found anything close to my issue...I just found out that i am pregnant about 6 weeks. They did an ultrasound today and well there is definately one healthy baby with a hb at 108 they said although it seems low its becuase it literally just appeared like a day or two ago so its not uncommon?? is that true?? also under the first sac they detected a "white" spot that could indicate a second baby but it was just a white spot under the the black spot where the healthy baby is..what could that mean?? they said it could be a fraternal twin or it could be something that was left behind from an emergency abortion i had to have in september of 2009. (serious health issues cause me to have to have an abortion) but that dr did a follow up after that procedure was done and said all looked fine and i was cleaned up just fine..so i am so confused and have been even more emotional today and lashing out at everyone just thinking that it could be a second baby that is not ok?!?! anyone with any input/answers i would be so very grateful!! thanks (yes twins run in my mothers family as well as my boyfriends mom's sisters are twins.)

I went for my 1st u/s yesterday, I thought I was 11wks by their previous period calculations and the size of my belly but it seemed to be almost 8 wks by the size of the fetus. Also, there was another sac but empty and he said it was a water sist. After reading some of these posts I'm praying that its not a sist and instead I hope to see the miracle that some of you ladies have had. I guess I'll have to wait paciently until the next visit. Thanks for the comments & support! Claudia [3

HELLO EVERYONE! I AM PREGNANT FOR THE FIFTH TIME ONE MISCARRIAGE, THREE BEAUTIFUL KIDS, AND PREGNANT NOW. I WENT TO THE ER AT NINE WEEKS AND THE DR. SAID THAT MY HCG LEVELS WAS OFF THE CHARTS SO SHE DID A SECOND SONOGRAM WHICH REVEALED TWO HEARTBEATS. I WENT TO ANOTHER SONOGRAM JUST LAST WEEK AT ELEVEN WEEKS AND THE GRAPHER SAID SHE ONLY SAW ONE. IS THERE ANY CHANCE THAT SHE IS WRONG IF IT WAS ALREADY CONFIRMED THAT THERE WERE TWO? COULD ONE BE HIDING BEHIND THE OTHER? I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHERE'S THE SECOND HEARTBEAT THAT WAS FOUND IN THE ER.

i just had an ultrasound and when i got home i noticed that there are 2 sacs, it was not an official ultrasound just a cheap one at my doc office, they are sending me for an official one at the lab in a couple weeks. Doc didn't notice it either. I have not gone in for my next one. Do you think its possibly for 2 to be ther even if the doc didn't notice.
