Hello Kim how are you? Your posts are dated back in 2005, but your story sounded amazing. Like you, I'm also a woman that has no problems with having children, etc but I'm desperately trying to get a set of twins and I'm taking clomid unprescribed next month. I don't mean to bother you but I never finished reading the end of your story with your pregnancy and I was just wondering how you and the triplets are doing, let me tell you that I found your story to be one of the most fascinating ones and I guess I'm hoping to have good luck with Clomid. Thank you for your time and I hope you can reply.

Kim I am so terribly sorry I posted without reading more about what happened, last post I read said that you lost one of the triplets. I feel terrible for asking you too many questions, please forgive me.

To ClomidTwins - just wondering when are you going to start your clomid and what days are you going to try it? I started on Sept 1 for cd 5 thru 9. I ovulated on sept 15 so I'm just waiting now to see if it has taken. Do you have many children now?

LuvBabies - September 21

umali - was just wondering how you were doing now? I know it's been a while since you lost your little girl, have things gotten any better for you? I'm thinking of you.

clomidtwins - September 22

LuvBabies, I'm just finishing my period for this month and didn't get my clomid on time so I guess I'm hoping to get it for the month of October. I'm wanting to start it on days 4-8, I already have two children, a 8 yr old girl and a 7 month old boy and I'm dying to have twins lol. I wish you good luck and please let us know if you are pregnant, I really hope you are!!

LuvBabies - September 22

ClomidTwins - Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Let me know how you get on with it. I kind of found the side effects a little off-putting, lots of headaches and cramping while taking it and at the moment I'm having a lot of headaches, sore b___sts and nausea which feels like early pregnancy symptoms but then the clomid can do that to you without actually being pregnant. Not sure if it took for me this month, I don't really feel like I'm pregnant, guess I'll know soon enough though. Do you ever feel bad just taking it for the sole reason or having twins? I've thought about this for a long time and am still not sure if I'm doing or have done the right thing. I don't want to be judged by people and I know there are so many women out there that would give their right arm just to have one baby let alone what we have. I have five gorgeous kids but I just want more and because this might be my last pregnancy, I'd like for it to happen quick and not take so long to conceive, that, and twins would be amazing if it happened. Does that make me very selfish? Ah, I don't know. Anyway, I'll keep an eye out for your posts to see how it has all gone for you and if anything good happens on this end I'll let you know. Chat soon.....

how are you girls doing? I have been reading your comments. I am on day 4 of clomid so it seems I am right between the two of you. luvbabies- I have had really bad headaches as well. it sucks but will be well worth it. I seem to have convinced I will get prego on the first round.

LuvBabies - September 28

Hi Kimismurf - well I got a BFP yesterday! God only knows how many pregnancy tests I have gone through in the last two weeks, even trying them on days that I know I couldn't have possibly gotten a positive. That was my first try on clomid so hopefully everything will work out. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that it'll work first time too. I haven't hearding anything from ClomidTwins, not sure where she's gone. Hope she's doig ok. The headaches are still there, but I suffer from migraines anyway so am kind of used to it, especially during pregnancy. Do you have any babies already? Have you been TTC for long?

Kimismurf - September 28

LuvBabies - YEY!!! I am so happy you got a BFP! Awesome, and on your first try on clomid too! AFM - well to answer to your question, No, I have not been trying long, but it sure feels like I have. Back in Jan 2008 I was put on this medication for my RA. When they gave it to me they told me I couldn't get preg for 2 years, and I worked about 60 hours a week so i did it. After a few weeks it was eating me alive that I felt as though I had given up my right to get preg and I have wanted a baby so bad ever since. In Feb. this year I changed doctors and I told him I wanted to have a baby. He scheduled me to come off my meds in Aug but I took my last shot on July 4th and just told him I ran out. Then I had to wait 3 months or 3 cycles before I could become preg. So here I am today on day 5 of clomid and the doctor says not to get preg till after Oct 4th so hopefully I will "o" soon after that. Yes I do have a little boy, well he is 10 but he's still my baby. I really have been wanting a baby for a very long time and would love to have twins. It is a lot for me to get off my meds since, sometimes it can be very painful without them. Not only that but my the way my disease works is that it can damage my joints and mussels even if it doesn't hurt. So I really risk a lot by not being on my meds but a baby or two would be worth it to me. Clomidtwins - did your clomid come? Has AF shown her face? We want to know how your doing...

LuvBabies - September 28

Hi Kimismurf - I hope it works for you, especially after waiting all this time and I'm delighted you have a little boy, they're wonderful. Sorry to hear that you are not too well all the time, what is it that you have? Sorry, you don't have to answer that if it's too personal. What clomid are you on? I took u/p clomid, a bit of a risk I know but there's no way in hell my doctor would have given it to me so I ordered it online. I'm so glad it worked, just hoping now that everything is ok in there and the baby will be healthy, or babies, would love twins myself too but would be quite happy aswell with just one.

Kimismurf - September 28

LuvBabies - I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, I remember when i was younger I used to see little old ladies with big joints and messed up fingers and I always thought I hope I never end up with that. Only 1% of people in America get RA but there happens to be a genitic marker for it in my family so I guess I'm the lucky winner...LOL Anyhow, I happen to feel great today, no pain at all, infact I spent the entire day cleaning the house. I am on cd7 clomid day5 of u/p as well. I am feeling like I will get a BFP on my first round (fingers and toes crossed)

LuvBabies - September 29

Kimismurf - well that sucks, I can't imagine how sore and uncomforable that would be, sorry to hear you have to suffer from that. Hope all works out for you now on the Clomid. Let me know how you get on. I'll cross everything for you!

Kimismurf - September 30

LuvBabies - It's cool, I have had it since the end of 2007. It was really bad and I couldn't even walk but when I got on my meds it slowly got better. Even though I have been off my meds for 3 months now it hasn't fully returned, so most days right now are pain free for the most part. Becides, my RA Dr said 80% - 100% of women got into remission by the end of their first trimester. So I'm on cd9, and I finished my clomid on cd7. I have already started to take the robitussin 3 times a day and I am on 2MG of folic acid a day. I swore I wasn't going to wast my time with the opk's but my sister is doing them and everytime she talks about the lines I feel like I want to have something to share too. I just herd that they don't work well when you have used fertility drugs so I hadn't planned on using it. P.S. my sister bought me a pink baby hat to carry in my purse for good karma, just thought I would share that.

LuvBabies - October 1

Hi Kimismurf - I know what you're saying about the opks, I hate buying them but at the same time I don't trust that I'll get my dates right and would hate to miss ovulation. I was afraid they weren't going to work for me either but sure enough, I reached the LH surge and the opk showed it. Funny you should say that about the pink hat, on my last baby my sister gave me a pair of blue socks to put in my handbag, she just knew I was having a boy and sure so it happened. Scary.

Kimismurf - October 1

LuvBabies - I guess I will pick some up today and give it a shot. I am on cd10 so I guess this is as good a time as any to start them. In my husbands family there has been only boys born from the last 4 genarations that I know of. There were 2 girls born but I don't think they count since they were fathered by non Murphy sperm...LOL I would really like to be the first to have a girl since some of the uncles have told me all the women in the family were married in and no girls ever resulted from any of their children either.

rwylie - October 5

Hi ladies, I know I'm jumping in one a different convo. But I need help. I have three little girls and just found out about a month ago I'm pregnant, well I went yesterday 10-4-10 to an ultrasound, at palmetto preg. Its a help center that has limited ultrasound To show not hear show the heartbeat, and show a baby. It last 5 mins top! They gave me 3 pics, well when I get home and show everyone there is appears to be another face two eyes nose mouth in one pic and in another there is another little leg and foot like its kicking the baby you can see. Is this twins? If someone can tell me how to upload pics I wanna put em up and see what everyone thinks. Oh and I'm 12 weeks can a baby hide?
