Hello everyone! I have been reading your posts and I am very interested in them. I have been on the nuva ring for 2 years now and my husband and I decided to try and conceive. I have always been intrigued by the idea of twins. Twins run in my family and my husbands. I believe I am very fertile because I have a 2yr old right now who I got pregnant while while on birth control!! But I would like to increase my chances of having twins. I had a few questions for everyone. I am too scared to ask my doctor for Clomid. Does anyone know if doctors will give Clomid for women without fertility issues? Also, where is a reliable trustworthy website to buy clomid from? If you cannot post url's please email me at candycanegrly22 on yahoo. One more question. I have a rough draft of my plan, let me know if you have any more tips for me! 1- take clomid on cycle days 3-7 2- folic acid and pre-natal vitamins every day 3- use pre-seed 4- mucinex and baby aspirin on cycle days 6-18 I'm not too sure about the progesterone suppositories.... what is it used for and is it expensive? Thanks so much everyone and I look forward to hearing back from you!

I've been TTC for 3 years and just got an actual prescription from a doctor here in the US for 50 mg Clomid to take CD 3-7. We wouldn't mind multiples, but we just want a baby! The pills are not yellow like some women have said, but they do come in a package where each is individually sealed. It says "Clomiphene Citrate" on the package and 50 mg. It was $18 for a 1 month (5 day) supply at my pharmacy without insurance coverage for it. I would be extremely weary to get Clomid from the internet, especially from a different county. 1. It's illegal. You may get twins, but will it matter if you're stuck in jail for drug trafficing? 2. It's not safe. You can die or lose your reproductive organs. You can never be 100% sure what's in those pills! 3. Don't take anything you're not prescribed. You're not prescribed Clomid for a reason. 4. Prescription drugs in other countries aren't held to the same strict standards we have here in America. I know how crazy and desperate you can feel while TTC, but think about your health. What's more important?

Repost: (sorry, I just want to get to know as many of my fellow TTCTWINNERS as possible :D ) Hello everyone, I'm new here, well actually that's not all together true. I've been a silent reader for quite some time now on these forums searching for information/statistics regarding u/p clomid and conceiving twins for a 22 y/o women with a 16 month old DS (conceived naturally, and on first time having ever tried). I am fairly overweight, above 30 bmi. Have been told by a doctor once in my teens that she suspects i may have pcos though i do not have any of the regular symptoms as far as she could tell. Have hirsutism, on face and body am over weight (no difficulty losing though if i want)and she suspected that i may be close to insulin resistant. Although not quite. She had me on metformin (250mg i think it was 2-3 times a day)at that time (wasnt ttc). The met made me sick all the time and i decided to stop it. Ever since then I stopped caring for curing or healing pcos if even i had it since I always had my period, although not on time ever. Irregular by upto 5-6 days only. So cycle would last anywhere from 28days to 30 (at that time). No cysts were found on ovaries at that time. Nothing else was checked. Just my hirsutism and being overweight and acne/bacne (at that time) and hyperpigmentation(non hereditary) was looked at. The doctor told me based on these things that i would never have children naturally. I though nothing of it then, and now that I so easily had my DS think even more nothing of it now. Several years after visiting that doctor for the last time. I have not had many checkups other than during my pregnancy in which my blood sugar and pressure and every single thing always came back normal. Only thing was I have a blood type which I would need to take shots so that during labor it wouldnt cause issues with the babies blood mixing w/ mine and creating an immune attack on him. I have no other problems other than a possible (very self diagnosed) luteal phase dysfunction or problem. I have never checked or noticed my ovulation though my periods usually occur anywhere after 30 days to 42, very random but always in this range. So i truly have no clue what this means or could mean towards my ovulation or cycle and would really like to know. Basically my husand and I would love to have twin boys more than anything in this world. I would love to have a singleton boy if I could not have twins, simply because it is both my husbands dream family and mine. It is not that I have anything against having girls, if God were to bless me with a daughter or daughters then I would be truly blessed too, but two boys for now would be my ideal and it would help me to achieve my goal of having a large family with older boys and younger girls much sooner if I were to hit two storks with one stone by having twin boys, or twin boy/girl! Basically I am posting on here to see if anyone can help me figure out when and how to take what to achieve this goal. I know for a fact that timing is the best tool for trying to attempt at gender selection when TTC. But this is a lot more confusing when added to TTC Twins coherently! So this is why I seek your help guys! Please, be kind, non judgemental if you could and please do give me some info that can help me figure out my next step as I am very interested in TTC Twin/multiple boys ASAP! ;) Right now I have 30 tablets of 50mg clomid. But do not have any of the other meds/ products I want to try (e primrose oil, prost cream, hcg shot, mucinex, baby asperin, folic acid or preseed) as I don't really know how these might effect the outcome gender-wise just yet. Was hoping someone, anyone could shine some light on it for me.... Thanks in advance everyone! Looking forward to TTC Twins with you guys soon!!! Baby Dussssstttttt to all!!!!!

Hello , I am 30 year old . I had always hoped to be a mother and dream of twins . I got a blood clot for birth control patch and have been off birthcotrol since I was 19- So I know it is not a male isusse as I never got pregnant with 3 different men all ether had kids or went on to have kids . My husband had 3 kids single and a set of twins before we go together . Years of baby blues and we started to TTC After 3 years of TTC with my husband with out doctors help as i did not have health insurance we got BPP :) We talked about removing my copper IUD when our girl is a year or so old ,we like our next to to be close in age ( less than 3 years apart) as his other kids are teens now. I hope to have twins and am think of getting help to TTC . How do you go about getting help and meds ? I did talk to ob and told them of my plan but my ob dose not do fertility treatments ? So now I have to find a new doctor I guess .I am willing to take u/p clomid to make my dreams come true with twins or not but wonder about blood clots ? Baby dust to all

Will Clomid offer me any hope?I am 45 and in perimenopause. Is perimenopause a contraindication to using clomid? i just finished a normal period, but they are getting sporadic. I know I am heading to my last chance if I haven't pa__sed it already. I will see a specialist on the 23rd. Any good advice on what to ask? I am normal weight, good health, low BP, cholesterol. 3 previous healthy pregnancies, no issues in conception previously, youngest is now 11, wasn't trying since then, in a new marriage and really want a baby with this one. He is an amazing man and a beautiful father. I really don't want to go any further than that type of intervention. I can adopt if it comes to that, but would prefer to have a little green eyed girl with my husband. A boy is good too, but he has two of them. I want a girl for me though, he would be happy with either. Also, I live in the middle east. I can get good clomid OTC here They have good regulations on the meds, so I do trust them. I also know that the standards of care and treatment are not what they are in the states. For example, here, if you don't have a period for 3 months, you are pregnant or menopausal. They really don't respect the idea of a transition, which is where I am right now. I would be inclined to try some anyway. How much? I dont want to be a renegade, but where I live, sometimes you just need to do things for yourself. I know my husband is fertile and I know I have no issues other than age creeping up on me.

I think fertile women have a much higher chance of conceiving more then one do to the fact that we are fertile and ovulate w/o medication. I my self have been taking prenatal pills I am about to start clomid on 4/12/12-4/16 I am eating Ca__sava everyday 1 small potatoe size amount hopefully I can conceive twins do to the fact that I would want this to be my last pregnancy. I will keep anyone posted if thir interested because these posts are very old

My husband and I had our son in November 2011 and lost him in February 2012. I am having issues that will require a full hysterectomy within a year. My doctor told me if we wanted to have another child, we needed to hurry up and do it now. I hate the pressure, but we know we want another child. We know we want more than 1 (living) child together, so we would like to try for multiples!! We have decided we would try Clomid. I have enjoyed reading everyone's story on here. For those with successful Clomid/multiples stories, could you please email me? I would really appreciate someone to share their success stories and help answer any questions I might have. ca__sandra dot aldridge at hotmail dot com

Hi, I was on clomid on cd3-cd7. On cd11, I did an u/s and it showed 2 19mm follicle on my right ovary & my lining were ard 12mm. Dr adv to bd on cd11 till cd12. He prescribed utrogestan100 to be taken on cd13 2x a day for a period of 5 days. I would love to find out the possibility that both follicle ruptured and release eggs during ovulation. And btw, aft I finished my cd7 on clomid, I took robitussin, epo soft gel & bb asprin. Folic were taken orally from cd1.I also use preseed prior to bd. I'm currently experiencing cramps ard my right ovary area (on cd13). Any advise would be great! Rgds, Mommystheword [3
