I also get the same cramps,I went for my first scan last week and everything was ok. seeing the babys heartbeat was wonderfull.I am 8 weeks so i think that it is pretty normal to have cramps around this time. Good luck for your future tho.

HAVING LITTLE PERIOD CRAMPS IS NORMAL IT IS YOUR UTERUS GETTING READY TO GROW. EVERYONE GETS THEM. MINE HAVE CALMED DOWN QUITE A BIT AND I AM 9 WEEKS PREGNANT. BUT I HAVE BEEN HAVING THESE SIDE PAINS THAT SWITCH SIDES EVERY NOW AND THEN IT FEELS LIKE I JUST RAN A MILE AND DRANK A LOT OF WATER TYPE OF SIDEACHE. IS THAT NORMAL? I GET SO SCARED BECAUSE I JUST MISCARRIED 4 MONTHS AGO AND NOW I AM PREGNANT AGAIN. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER ME???

Michelle most likely your are having those pains becuase your liagments muscles are streching if they are not severe and come and go they are normal i have had some of those pains and i am 9weeks today and so far so good I miscarry also before but with that pregnancy i never had any cramps and still miscarried so maybe this is a good sign Good luck and God Bless

thank you so much robin. i have been so worried. i called my doctor and she is going to see me tomorrow just to rea__sure me. it was so hard losing my first pregnancy and it was around the same time. my doctor is going to try and see if we can hear the heartbeat if we can't we are going to do an ultrasound to see the heartbeat. thank you for your feedback it makes me feel so much better. it is awesome that we pregnant ladies have a site like this that we can come and talk everything out with no shame cuz we all go through it.

My LH surge (according to the o-predictor) started 4 days ago - which was Saturday. I had what i thought may have been ovulation cramps sat, sun, mon, tues and today - mostly off and on but consistent. Today I am having light spotting. I've never spotted between cycles, nor had cramping. had anyone had these symptoms so close to ovualtion? I read many posts where this happens later on...but i've also read that implantation can happen as soon as 2 -10 days after ovulation. Thanks!

I found out that I am pregnant 2 days ago. 5 tests confirmed it : ) My 1st doctors visit is 9/22 due to them being overbooked. I talked with my doctor over the telephone and she said that these c___pms are normal...your body is changing and your uterus is expanding. I was sure that I was about to start my period since I was having these frequent cramps. Boy was I in for a suprise.

hi all i know stomach ache and pains are common as your body is going through changes unless your in alot of pain or bleeding aswell.also in my pregnancy when i was 5-6 weeks i had a little spotting which must of been implantation bleeding but these aches and cramping are scarry espeacially if youve had a m/c before good luck all

I am only 4 weeks pregnant coming off of an early miscarriage 2 months ago. I am having spotting that started out a 1/2 dollar size red blood stain on my underwear Thursday night and has subsided to very very light pinkish brown only when I wipe especially after a bowl movement. I am also having achiness, not cramps, in my lower abdomen and upper back. It's not painful but annoying. I have two boys already and I know that with each pregnancy you feel the effects more but I don't remember any of this achiness. I saw the Dr. and had blood work done along with a scan. So far I have to wait to see the results and for another scan in a couple of weeks. I looked at the diagnosis on my checkout slip and it said threatened abortion. Has anyone experienced the achiness and spotting like I described?

Hi I had really bad cramping, exactly like period pain from implantation right through to around 9 weeks. It was getting less and less every day and eventually it seems to have stopped completely. Im going for my 12 week scan today so am v. excited and also scared! I had a fibroid removed from my womb about 3 years ago, not sure if that was why it was so painful to start but they say its all to do with stretching womb membranes etc. Also, pain alone is supposedly much less worrying than pain + bleeding. I has a M/C last year and it started with cramping for 2 weeks on and off and brown spotting before severe pain for a couple of hours + red blood then m/c. It was so wierd, I just knew I was going to miscarry right from the beginning, everybody was getting excited except me. Anyway, Ive had no spotting this time so feeling better about it, but still, its worrying.

Total normal...I cramped all the way until my 3rd month if you are really concerned see your doctor
