on dec 5th i had my first ultrasound i was 9 weeks pregnant everything was fine the heartbeat was perfect--we were so excited. my bf would kiss on my stomach talk to it and was already saying it was a girl we were all thrilled. then the wednesday before christmas i started spotting and slightly crammping i didn't pay it any attention because it stopped; then thursday morning i woke up to a light flow of light colored blood we went straight to the hospital they checked my cervix said it was closed told me to take it easy and sent me home. not even 30 min of being home i started cramping and passed a blood clot the size of a softball then 10 min later another the size of a golfball the pain was slowly increasing so we went back to discover that my cervix was slightly open they did an ultrasound and saw that the baby and the sac were both still there but there was no heartbeat. at this time i was supposed to be 11 weeks and 3 days pregnant but my baby was measuring barely 10 weeks. they gave me the news and sent me home with pain meds; that next day i started cramping with a feeling like i was about to start labor (i have 2 kids so i knew the pain) then about 45 min into the slight cramping it was as if i went into full blown labor and the "contractions" were barely 3 min apart i knew what was coming i knew what to do so i went to the bathroom and right when i got there it was as if my body released something i pulled down my pad and there laid my baby i bled some more...we went to the hospital they confirmed what i knew there was no longer a baby or a sac but there waws still tissue. i go to the dr next week but i'm still bleeding and cramping and passing blood blots and what looks to be tissue. we want to try for another baby and the constant bleeding is reminder that we lost our baby. what i want to know is how much longer will i bleed and how long until we can try again?
