Rear Entry

Affectionately known as "doggy style," the rear entry position is a favorite of many pregnant women. This is because it allows for deeper penetration and also gives you the opportunity to support your stomach and breasts.

You get on all fours and, using pillows, support your stomach and chest. Your partner then stands or kneels behind you, and enters from behind. Because deep thrusting is involved, be sure to tell your partner exactly what feels good for you.

Oral and Anal Sex During Pregnancy

You may be wondering if it is safe to participate in oral or anal sex during pregnancy. Well, both oral and anal sex are safe during pregnancy as long as you take the proper precautions.

Make sure that your partner is free from any STDs before you engage in any type of sexual contact. Use a dental dam during oral sex and a condom during anal sex.

However, there are some safety issues with oral and anal sex during pregnancy. Be sure to take anal sex especially slowly, to prevent tearing any rectal tissues. If you are engaging in oral sex, be sure your partner does not to blow air into the vagina as this could cause an air embolism.

This is when air blocks certain blood vessels in the vagina, preventing proper circulation. This is a potentially life-threatening condition for both mother and baby, so be sure to guard against it when participating in oral sex.
