Smurf, There is no way I could know what you are going through while making the decision to give your child up for adoption. I applaude your selflessness in this decision. Ever since I was 10 or 11 all I have wanted to be was a mother, more specifically a mother to children who need a loving home. I am a Catholic living in southern Wisconsin where midwestern values are strong as well as Christian belief, the importantance of education and the persistance to do what good for thoswe who are less fortunate. I am college educated, been with my employer for 5 years, have a 3 bedroom home with a large yard and 3 small dogs. My husband and I have been trying to have a child of our own for years. We have been through several unsuccessful infertility procedures and desperately want a child while we are young enough to enjoy it. I'm a registered nurse and my husband remodels homes. We are now 29 and 30 years old. After we learned that having a child, biologically, was not going to happen, we knew immediately that adoption was the path meant for us. We are honest, hardworking, and caring people. We see life as an adventure and we love to share and help others. Our families are very important to us and we spend a lot of time together making memories.
