Bathroom Breaks Not Possible

Hi, everyone. I'm 5 weeks pregnant and I'm drinking my required 8 glasses of water a day, but this, not surprisingly, makes me have to visit the bathroom constantly! The problem is, I'm a professional classical musician and I can't just get up and leave the stage in the middle of a concert (I do four a week). Sometimes I have to remain in my seat for two hours. If it is this bad now, I can't imagine what it will be like at 8 months! Does anyone have any suggestions for getting the required water intake without having to take a solo bow on-stage? Should I drink all my water early in the day and abstain for several hours before I have to work?

I think you had a good idea...drink as much water as you can well before you have to work so that it does not interfere. That is the best solution that I can think of. It might make you feel ill though...I know when I drink too much water (im not pregnant) i get the swooshing of water going on in my belly and it makes me feel icky..lol

I have a similiar problem. I am 10 weeks pregnant and am a letter carrier for the post office. On my route there are 3 bathroom stops M-F. But on Saturday all but one are closed. And I am on the street for 7 hours. I try hard to drink small amounts during the day and start drinking more just before the end of my route. The problem is at night I would have to pee every hour to hour and a half. Luckily at ten weeks it is getting better and I am sleeping for longer periods at a time.
